Food and waitress were the best. Hadn't been in a long time, but met up with an old friend and we will be returning. Thanks... to our wonderful waitress and the chef agreed to do a surf and turf dinner which is normally served on weekends. We went on aWed. night and are pleased we did. Read more
Went for the first time in a very long time on NYE..our reservation was for 3 people at 7pm..we we're greeted and seated... promptly although in the bar area when there was lots of room in the dining room. Our waitress was kind and pleasant but we feltneglected because the kitchen was overwhelmed. The restaurant didn't seem prepared for a busy night..I blame management! Thehostess was turning away walk inside even though there were empty tables. We ordered a app of calamari right away. It took morethan 45 minutes for the app. We thought our meals were going to come before the app did. Finally, the app was served. Duringthis time, our glasses were dry and it seemed like they only had one waitress. Poor planning by management. Our waitress thencame over to inform us that at 7:30 on a big holiday, they ran out of mashed potatoes. We eat out daily..we've never been to arestaurant that ran out of mashed! Finally, our meals were served. My husband ordered two lobster plates and they were servedwithout butter. Just a very disappointing dinner on big celebratory night.. definitely will go elsewhere in the future. SorryCasual Inn.. your attention to detail is just too casual for me. Read more
OK, so, let's start with we have been here before was really good. We had seafood and zero complaints. It's been about 6 years... since then, we decided to try a special. Delmonico Steak with carrots, one with fries the other roasted potatoes. I had theroasted potatoes they tasted like FISH, the steaks were 90% fat and they were 34.50 a plate. Super disappointed I sent them bothback way too much fat and they were raw to medium rather than medium to well. I felt bad for the waitress but it had to go back,and, we won't be back either.
