Easy Saturday street parking. Low crowd. Easy seating and ordering. We ate on patio. Nice for autumn afternoon lunch. Smoking is... allowed but not enjoyed by all. Sushi was good. Second time coming here and it was a total bust this time. First time going we loved it. Waitress was very friendly and sweet.... We went for an early dinner the fist time. This time we had a reservation for my husband's birthday and I told the restaurantthat prior. So I wanted it to be special when they brought out his dessert. We didnt get that far. Waitress didnt tell us hername had an attitude. We where dressed up nice for this occasion were sat at a table that had a nice sign that stated that thelight was out of order,don't touch. Very trashy looking for the atmosphere and for a reservation table. We didn't have a drinkmenu at the table and my husband likes different whiskeys and scotch and we where planning to rack up a large bill with that.However waitress seemed we where wasting her time when my husband asked for a whiskey and scotch list. So he went over to thebar to get it he had no problem with that. But the waitress attitude was not needed.Then he asked for the cocktail menu for mebecause i ordered the june carter last time and really liked it. But wanted to see if there was anything new to try on thatcocktail menu. I was going to get a paloma but decided not to because I asked our waitress for my water to be filled she cameover filled it less then a fourth of the way and then said I'll be back and didn't went to the table in front of us to give themtheir beers from the bar and talked to them for a good while and then walked pass us twice to service this table and talked somemore to them. I felt like just because I wasn't drinking alcohol she thought she shouldn't check on us as much. I like thefood for the most part. I love the fried green tomatoes ,firecracker shrimp and my husband loves the goat cheese burger withbacon, and parmesan fries. Blackened salmon love that too.Sushi is mediocre. We were seated within an hour on a busy day. The atmosphere is great and very cozy. They have a great selection of sushi. I... recommend the junkyard roll. The parmesan garlic fries with BBQ aioli sauce are super tasty. We tried the downtown chicken andthe blackened salmon. You'll be hard pressed to find better quality food at a more affordable price. We have been here numerous times and everytime the food has been spot on. In my opinion they have hands down some of the best... sushi in NE Tennessee and SW Virginia. The restaurant is always clean as are the restrooms. The wait staff are very friendly andattentive. Read more
