I ordered 2 piece of catfish with 2 sides. The fish was small and very greasy. The only thing that was good was the service... friendly but not fast. When we got in a man was ordering. We ordered right after he did. Our food took 15 plus mins. Our foodcame out before the person that ordered before us. When we left he was still waiting. Read more

I got fish there today and it tasted horrible. I looked and it was brown inside. 1 piece out of 3 was okay, the other two... brown. I believe it was rotten. I took it back and they wanted to replace it. To tell you the truth I don?t think I couldever eat it again without thinking about it. I said I would prefer a refund. The guys gave me back the amount of the wholebill. I told him my husbands meal was fine. He didn?t have to refund it. He was in a calculator trying to figure out how muchto refund for a 9.99 meal plus tax and then came and gave me 9.00 and some change. There was no smile, no words, no I am sorrythat happened, nothing. My last meal there. Goodbye Captain. Read more

Atmosphere was uncomfortable! Food was bland, microwave and tasteless. The staff was cordial, customers glared and stared at us... like we weren't humans. Very uncomfortable for it to be 2022! Wasted $30 on half piece's of fish and old corn and microwavebroccoli. Saddens me to think we were traveling and went out of our way to try this restaurant. I gave it 1 star because I hadto. It would definitely be zero stars. If you're a person of color don't bother spending your money here! Read more

Sat for 15-20 in line last Sunday and line did not move, gave up and went elsewhere. Love your fish but you seem to be very... understaffed. Also Captain D's advertise senior discount days are Wednesday and Sunday and now I hear it's Wednesday andSaturday at your location. You need to include that on your site where your menus are located. I'm sure I'm not the only seniorwho showed up on Sunday expecting the reduced price. Read more

Placed an order through drive through, asked specifically if there was a southern style fish platter and if there was a 3 piece.... I was explicitly told that I could get it in 1,3,4 or 5 pieces. I chose the 3 piece platter and a regular style 3 piece platteralong with jalapeño poppers and a side of stuffed crab. I also requested extra tarter and vinegar. I was given a total of $44and change. This is the second time trying to stop in the drive through before 8 pm in the past month and was told they were already closed.... We have been loyal customers for years and understand short staffing, but closing 30 minutes or 15 minutes early with carswaiting in the drive through is very poor service. Someone came over the speaker and rudely said we are closed. No apologyor any explanation. I don?t foresee us coming back anytime soon. Service has went downhill since the Peppers used to own it. My son and me enjoyed many delicious meals here before the pandemic for years even when John Baldwin and John White were Store... Managers. Both men did an excellent job and were friendly. Found a hair baked into my hush puppy! Food was horrible and portions were for children while the price was outrageous! Called... about the experience and was assured I would get my money back. Said the main manager would call the next day. A week later Icalled to check in and the main manager was rude and unprofessional. She said she couldn't give me my money back, and didn'tknow who told me that. She said so I could only get gift cards to eat at the same nasty restaurant, no thank you! Kept arguingwith me and being condescending toward me. I finally hung up and called corporate and they mailed me a visa gift card. Willnever eat at this location again.
