We made it to the Restaurant at around 8 pm so I have to say that the food was not really fresh. We ordered the salmon dish and... the steak....Also the beef sliders.... man it was not only fresh but also heavy. I'm thinking that maybe they didn't have enough grits and potatoes gratin so to make it enough to serve they added tons of cheese. The steak had an enormous amount of sugar onit. You don't need that much sugar to make your meat look pretty. I wasn't impressed with the desert as well. The fries wereold. You could tell they were heated and not fried on the spot. The bill was over $190 plus tip. If you plan to go to this placefor just a drink and the atmosphere that's a great place but the food did not impress me at all. We tried Parallel Wine & Whiskey Bar for the first time Sat night and it was wonderful! Live music was talented both the singer... and the band! The food was very good. We loved all of it but especially the smash burger. The sliders were awesome and so werethe wings. Also I hate kale but that fried kale was so delicious. Also those fried pickles. I added them into my burger slidersand it was super yum. We will be back soon we loved the food. Just wish the waitress told us the kitchen was closing so we couldhave ordered dessert before it was too late. She told us she "spaced" when I asked if she knew the kitchen was closing why shedidn't ask us if we wanted anything else. Overall great service and we will be returning! UPDATE: After having that wonderfuldinner there we decided to come back the next weekend. We got there at about 9:30pm. Ordered drinks and appetizers and thenordered our main meal. After about 15 minutes our waitress came back and said "sorry the kitchen is closed". Normally thekitchen tells us before they close but they didn't today and im sorry but I can't put the order in. We were very surprised. Andthen we asked about the hours on the website saying 12. And she replied with they close whenever business is slow that can beanytime. We were surprised. Then the waitress said she would see if the kitchen on the other side would be willing to make uswhat we wanted for dinner. Luckily she was able to get them to make us our food. But seriously that was a terrible experience,we could see how stressed the waitress was and we were so disappointed. Please communicate better. We will not be returning. Read more

This is one of my favorite spots in Ashburn. Their brunch is what keeps me coming back and now (believe it or not) so will their... Butter Chicken! ::mouth watering:: I will definitely be ordering this again. Also, if you have a chance to sit at the bar thatAbbi is working that night, do so! Giving 2 stars because in the past, we’ve had good experiences and food has generally been consistent but today was one of the... worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. The service was very slow: 15 minutes to get an appetizer (5 of which we couldsee it sitting in the expo window just simply not being brought to us) 20+ minutes to get brunch The steak and eggs that weordered medium came out with one piece that could maybe pass as medium and the rest was burnt to a crisp. We also ordered theavocado toast which had maybe 1/8 of an avocado. See photos. I went to use the ladies room and there was a line of four peopleusing only one stall because a member of the staff was in the handicapped stall (!!!) on a phone call. I understand the worldis short staffed but this was pretty disappointing considering the restaurant was not busy at all. I will say our server whosename I didn’t catch was doing her very best to do EVERYTHING- kudos to her. I didn’t see a manager for the entire time. Read more

First time at Parallel and won’t be our last. Everything about this establishment was fantastic. Food was excellent! Tyler... was able to work some absolute magic and was able to find us a last minute table on a incredibly busy Saturday night. Zara wasour waitress and an beautiful soul with a great personality.
