Decided to finally give this Chicken Shack a try. It's mainly wings and sides, so if you're expecting full/half chicken or... thighs and breast you may want to look elsewhere. Now if you're looking for some chicken wings on steroids (not really they justlook like they are) then this is the spot. They have a couple of flavors to choose from. I tried the lemon pepper which was alittle under seasoned, but that's because I'm used to them being a little over seasoned. Fried okra and fries for sides alongwith shrimp and catfish as separate entrees. All orders are served with a side of coleslaw and a slice of bread, but the onlygive you one slice so if you need more don't forget to ask. Sauce is added to the chicken during preparation. If you're not intomild or hot sauce then I recommend letting them know when placing your order. All in all it was a good experience. Enjoy! Read more
Ordered 10 pieces fried Hard with sauce on the side, pickup order asked if sauce was in the bag they replied yes Get home no... sauce. I called the cashier apologized, I replied is that it, the cashier call the manager, the manager extended her apologiesand said it was the cooks fault and she would remind him to be more careful, I replied is that it, no compensation, the managerYou want compensation for some sauce, I said no, and thank you i wont be back! Great food, great customer and great location. My food was hot, fresh and made to order. The beautiful lady that assisted me... with my order has stellar customer service and recommended delicious food. The food was seasoned to perfection. The shrimp werehuge. The fish was sooo good. The chicken is everything. Everything with lemon pepper with mixed sauce, LISTEN! The desserts anddrinks are great as well. Stopped in on a whim and let me tell you, that 20 minute wait was 100% worth it!!! The freshness and quality of their chicken... wings will definitely have me coming back for more! When u think chicken wings you think bdubs or wing stop but no no no Chicagochicken shack is where it?s at ???????? What an AWESOME experience! As a first-timer, I called first to find out if we could dine in. Mahogany answered the phone. ... Excellent cust svc. She was so nice that I decided to go there that day. She helped us order. 10 succulent wings were cookedfresh to order and was crazy delicious. Loved the fries. Didn't need ketchup. Then she suggested their homemade sweet potatopie. I reluctantly accepted her mini sampler because I ONLY like mine, until I tried theirs. Scrumptious! Also the owner tooktime to chat with us, super nice. Oh and the place was CLEAN. Even the bathrooms were super clean. I felt very comfortableeating there. Then I learned that they also have homemade peach cobbler, just not that day. I can't wait to go back next weekto try it. Visiting from Texas. Gotta say ordered the small fillet and it was perfectly cooked and large fillets for a small order. Flavor... was on point and had a great crunch. The okra was great. Great atmosphere and very friendly inside. Definitely Recommend Read more
