Cultural appropriation is wrong even if its appropriation of an Italian heritage of their culture and food. This restaurant has... not been run people familiar with Italian traditions and food for several years yet the continue to maintain that they have beenthere "Since 1937." Wow wow wow!!! I read a lot of emotional reviews of people being negative due to the owner changing which is so unfortunate... because the food here was AMAZING. People have to let go of the past and enjoy what this place has to offer now. Every item weordered was so tasty and full of flavor! I felt this was a well-needed review because it?s truly worth the trip to George?sespecially if you still appreciate authentic ethnic, quality food. My 4th visit to George's and was a totally delightful trip. The octopus stew dish was a gem, really tender and tasty, well... balanced by sweet aromatic peppers. The fried chicken wings came out plum and juicy in a nice size portion and were deliciouslymarinaded. The show stopper for me were the sweet potato fries ????. Sweet crunchy and moist all at the same time to the perfectdegree. Definitely heading back to George's soon to try out the other dishes. Well done George's. Highly recommend! Read more
