Local there every weekend. Atm in lobby for people that just use cards. Tip with cash. This is a country diner. Your breakfast... is made to order. If you want fast food go to McDonald's, its right down the road. If you want something special, ask. If theyhave it they will let you know. Their desserts are all home made. Soups are too. HORRIBLE and DESPICABLE experience at this restaurant! If you are a person of color, BEWARE! My husband and I were treated... horribly by the hostess. We came in and she briefly glanced at us and told us to sit where we'd like. Her demeanor towards uswas a big contrast in how she treated a small group that was seated after us. We had already been sitting 10 minutes and watchedas she smiled and interacted with that table and a few others, providing them with placemats and handing them menus. At thatpoint, my husband asked if we could have menus and she rudely said someone will be right with you and proceeded to throw themenus at us! It was at that point we got up and left. I think it is horrible that you have such a VILE woman like that workingat this establishment and I hope that something is done about her DISGUSTING behavior! Read more
Great small little diner, fast service and great food
My grandfather loved going here while he was still here. I usually go just to remember him. There is 1 waitress that makes you... feel very rushed. Got our bill one time within 3 minutes of getting our food. Read more
The grill gal was fantastic. A hot and tasty breakfast, nice people running the place. Special parking for my Harley.
Eggs and home fries were delicious. Pancakes seemed underdone and orange juice tasted weak. Prices seemed a little high as... well. Otherwise a nice down home place to get a meal. Friendly service. Read more
Not sure why this place is avg as high a rating as it is. First of all cash only? It?s 2019. The service was slow, bordering on... non-existent. We never got drink orders taken, our drinks were just brought with the meal. The food was avg at best. Waited 15min for a refill before handing my cup over the counter to one of the cooks for a refill. Not sure why so many people areimpressed with this place. Very busy diner near the mountain house. Staff is very nice and hard working. The Western omelet and home fries were tasty and... well cooked. Our small party of 4 was happy on the way out. Read more
