I won't call it small, let's say cozy. But the sushi was quite good. It was obviously very fresh, and that's my main marker of... quality for a sushi place. The teriyaki scallops were also very well cooked and the teriyaki sauce was not at all too sweet. Read more
This was by far the best sushi my husband and I have eaten! Amazing blend of flavors made fresh to order. The rice was so light... but held it's form, none of the pieces fell apart. We couldn't stop raving about the flavors during our lunch and willdefinitely start making this a routine place to eat. We ordered the Hawaiian Roll and the Smoked Salmon Roll. If I?m being completely honest, when I parked and saw the place I had a very low expectations. I am so glad I decided to try it... anyway. Reasonably priced food. Minus one star for expensive tea (It says $4.50 on the menu for sweet or unsweetened tea. Other... beverages were $2.50, which is still a tad higher than nearby comparable restaurants on 71st Street. The others charge around $1or $2 for softdrinks and $3 to $4 for specialty teas.) and minus another star for very salty fried rice and chewy beef. Probablyshould try to stick with sushi. Y'all.... Some of the BEST SUSHI I've ever had!! My husband had the chicken plate and was super happy with that too. So there... are definitely good options if you don't like sushi, too. The female owner is rude beyond rude! And had I known how dirty this restaurant was ahead of time, I would?ve never placed an... order here. DO NOT place a door dash order with this place!! I arrived 10 minutes early to check in for my personal order pickupand stated my name clearly to the male and female owners. The woman confirmed and say ?Ok? that it wasn?t ready and agentleman?s was first. I waited another few minutes and the woman stated ?hers isn?t even started?, so I confirmed it would be alittle longer and waited in the car visible at front door. 15 minutes later I check in and they Claim they never got my orderfrom DoorDash. The woman proceeded to tell me ?whatever? when I reminded her she that she asked me 30 mins ago who I was therefor and confirmed it when I walked in the door. All in all it took over an hour to get food and several other DoorDash and grubhub orders being processed before mine. I only stayed for the order because DoorDash is a nightmare to get refunds from.Hopefully the food doesn?t make me sick! Read more
