The food was good but was missing that wonderful smoke flavor that I was looking for in the pulled pork sandwich,, it could have... been served at a warmer temperature but was still good. Portion sizes are good on the meat but need to be 25% larger on the sideitems. Prices were reasonable, depending on what you order, The sandwiches served with 1 side, start at around $10.. The dinnerrolls that are served ahead of the meal are absolutely wonderful, hot, fresh and taste homemade. The restaurant had a reallynice atmosphere to it inside and has a small fish pond out front. The food was absolutely horrible. First, at least serve rolls that are fresh and not so dry and hard you could kill mule with.... Second, the BBQ was awful. No smoke flavor so must all be oven cooked as you need to bathe it BBQ sauce to mask the lack offlavor and the tabouli was almost 100% cracked wheat. Also no flavor. We had drove by this place for years and was reluctant toeat here because of the lack of cars outside and thought well, maybe it?s a hidden jewel. Ok. The decor is great, the food was great and the service, from Theresa, was even better. Staying in Tulsa for a couple days... and had a great lunch. If you leave hungry, that?s your own fault. So first off this is the only place my husband an I will get bbq from, it?s always consistent, delicious an fresh. So this night... we decided to doordash it an my husband always gets the two meat dinner with ham an polish sausage. About 10 minutes after weordered I got a call from a very sweet girl who apologized profusely about them being out of ham would we like a substitution,of course it wasn?t a big deal an I told her that an had them just give us sliced brisket instead. I didn?t think anything of ituntil our food arrived an imagine my surprise when that nice girl included a piece of their chocolate sheet cake for absolutelyno cost along with a sweet note. The server was OK at best, My wife and I both ordered the sirloin's plus we ordered two catfish dinners for our guests we... ordered the steaks medium Rare Both of them came out Medium well If not well done. After that the server Never came back andchecked on us Other than once. Once we were done and we asked for our check The server brought out a check saying $80.24, Whichhad everything on there except for the drinks Where I thought maybe he took the drinks off because the stakes were wrong And wewaited so long for Them. So I gave him my card and when he came back the bill read $89.97 Since when do you get a check for alower amount and then it comes out higher. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, very attentive. The food is delicious. The chocolate sheet cake is Divine!
