Service was great and staff were friendly. Came just as the start of the dinner rush on a Saturday and service was great. They... were definitely on their game. Had the sushi dinner and wife got pad thai. Sushi was excellent, pad thai was a little heavy onthe fish sauce - personally I like it that way but it could be a bit much depending on how 'americanized' you like it. Also, thethree people behind the sushi bar looked like they meant business. Would love to come back without the little one sometime forthe omakase. Read more
The sushi is always fantastically fresh and beautifully prepared. Service is fast and friendly. Expanded outdoor seating means... we always can get a table even when it's busy. We've also done take out many times with the same high quality and quick service. Read more
Last night 3 of us went to Haiku to grab dinner and I must say it was the worst experience I’ve had with you guys thus far.... I’ve been coming to Haiku locations for years and the Bronxville location is by far the worst ever. Rude server, terriblecustomer service, he didn’t want to be helpful at all. Our server was made aware that our sushi didn’t taste right, heshrugged his shoulders at us and said “uhhh.. ok?” What kind of service is that? The Manager was rude also, telling us“it’s not possible” when we mentioned our sushi tasted fishy and only took one roll off our bill. I will be mentioning myexperience to others that frequent this location as well. Terrible experience and highly disappointed. Might be time to changethe staff and re-train your team members on customer service. Highly disappointed and not worth my money. Won’t be coming hereagain. Best of luck! Read more
I’m sorry to say that the quality is sliding at what was always my favorite sushi place. The last 5 times we ordered, the... sushi did not seem fresh. It used to have that “melt in your mouth” freshness which it no longer does. And this last time,even the miso soup tasted different and I threw 2 of them out. Incredible hospitality. The sushi is really good. The outdoor dining experience is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Despite... the minor language barrier between servers, the food was really good. The service was on point and they even allowed us to dineuntil we were the last table to depart. Highly recommend this lovely Asian Bistro in Bronxville. Came in for sushi, but ended up with a hybrid warm/cold dish dinner. I found the sushi to be fresh and tasty and I imagine all... of their rolls/speciality rolls to be just as good. I surprisingly liked the eggplant. The sauce was just right and the eggplantwas cooked to perfection for such a dish. Combine with a side of fried rice! Service is prompt, attentive, though slightly lesstactful than to be expected. Experience has taught me that it’s nothing personal, it’s just ethno-cultural efficiency. Read more
Had the worst sushi of my life last night and woke up so completely sick to my stomach. I don't know where to start other than... to say just don't eat here. The yellowtail and tuna rolls were physically greasy. I highly suspect they are usung non sushigrade fish - the smell was truly awful. Live too far to have returned it. So sick this morning. Read more
