It was our first time here this weekend. Place was pretty packed. Most people had reservations, we didn't. We sat at the bar... which we like. There were tables outside but it was too hot. Atmosphere was cool, service was great, people were nice, margaritawas real good. Steak was a little overcooked. My wife liked her fish whatever it was, I forget as I'm writing this watching thegame. We will come back. It's a good place to drink, we can walk home. We spent about $60 each not counting the bottle of wine.I didn't get any pics. We try not to use our phones when we're out. I came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was quiet and the servers were lovely. I ended up ordering the mushroom... and artichoke pasta. I was surprised by how much more mushrooms there were than pasta. I will admit that it was a little bland overall but sprinkling a little salt over the dish helped. We also got the chocolate cake as dessert. The cake was a littleplain, nothing special, but the gelato and mascarpone cream were a nice touch. The best part of the meal was the service. The service was amazing, very attentive even though the place was packed due to a graduation. We had a table of 10, and they... made sure to attend to every single person with water wine etc. The restaurant was PACKED every table booked but…. TheFOOOOOOD was amazing- it had great flavor it left me wanting nothing more, very satisfying. This place is a must to try andafter to go back 2 or 3 more times to try other items on the menu. Rosies offers an experience which can only be described as classic. The place is the poster child for American-Italian cuisine... from the atmosphere, to the service and most importantly the cuisine. Rosie’s doesn’t try to impress with a contrived menu,but it instead makes tasty food with great ingredients; amounting to the best representation of the dish. Great food, great service. I seldom (maybe never?) say the service was great, but our waitress (Roxana) was amazing. Everyone... from the hostess, the owner?, and the support staff was friendly, efficient, and they were an amazing team. We were a party offive, and everything we had was great. A simple meatballs and spaghetti and lasagna were described as spectacular by all. Ouronly regret was that we didn't get to eat everything on the menu. The hours are a bit weird for this city mouse. They openearlier and close earlier. We ate at 5 (after work) and there were already many diners coming in. There's paid parking nearby(free after 7). We will be back. Thank you for the great meal!
