Stopped here for lunch while out exploring. Food was excellent. I had the fish sandwich with sweet potato fries. I didn't eat... the bread, but thoroughly enjoyed the fried fish. My husband had the "small" mushroom cheese burger and it was loaded to themax. Messy but outstanding. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. Will certainly go back when we are up this way again. The best fried catfish I've have in a while, waitress staff was awesome, very polite and attentive to our needs. Food was WOW!,... Iced Tea was fresh, as was the fish. Prices were good too! A definite must go if you're in the area! 5+2 Forks. Revisited TheStump today 9/22/2022, again received Awesome Service and excellent food. Kudos to the people who work there! Read more
I have been a customer here for many years off and on. I don?t remember ever having a ?bad?experience. My wife and I had dinner... Saturday afternoon. Fried Mushrooms, Bacon Cheeseburger (Excellent) with Sweet Potato Fries, and a Taco Salad with 2 drinks forless than $35. We normally eat seafood and it is good. The salad bar is always delicious. Service was excellent. A little priceybut worth it if you are in the area. Read more
Talk about the worst service I have ever had. I mean the worst. As I came in the bartender looked at me then went outside to... smoke. While the other one was writing in the whiteboard and didn?t even acknowledge me. That sad thing is this isn?t the firsttime the service has been that bad. They seem to be annoyed that they have costumers. I?d say i will never come back but I knowthe don?t care. Read more
We've have been coming here since before it was The Stump was even The Stump. Tonight was the absolute worse service. We ordered... the seafood platter and ordered 4 additional shrimp. We didn't get the additional shrimp. I would have loved to tell ourwaitress but she NEVER returned to our table. When we asked for an extra plate when we got our food and she brought us a cheapStyrofoam plate. The salad bar was a complete mess. There were only 2 tables in the restaurant that had people. One of the staffactually SWEPT under our booth while we were in it and was singing LOUDLY the song 9 to 5. Also, about a month ago we got a togo order and I got home and discovered I didn't get what I ordered. As I write this review we have been waiting approximately 20minutes for our check. Update: got the check. She didn't even put our extra shrimp in the order. Read more
We came here because someone recommended it but oh my goodness, never again. My $35 steak was well done and very chewy. ( I... ordered medium) My daughter's hamburger taco was raw. My husband's burger was bloody. Sent back before I got a picture. The onlygood thing about this place was our waiter, Jordan. She kept a positive attitude and was very nice. Me and my buddy went to the bar section. The server was very polite and checked up frequently on drinks and food! The food was... hot and delicious! They cook a mean steak over there! Tender and juicy! I'll definitely be coming back! Read more
