Lets start this review with the online menu that hasn?t been updated, expect to be paying much more for anything you order? and... not just by a dollar or two. One large pizza was priced at almost $30.00, $4.00 for bacon which you could only see about 10small flakes on the entire pizza. The order of garlic bread was a small grinder roll that was burnt with NO flavor at all? ithonestly the worst and most expensive takeout I?ve ever eaten in my life. My husband and I ordered from Portobello?s restaurant for the first time today. We had a wonderful experience and the food was... fantastic! We have lived in Brookfield for about a year and a half now and this is by far the best pizza around. Not only wastheir food fresh and delicious, but the staff were so nice and welcoming. Staff was quite nice. However I ordered a margarita pizza as well as a bacon pizza and the bacon one came without bacon. A bit... disappointed given the fact that I didn?t check and drove all the way home for cheese plain pizza. Not even sure if they chargedme the right amount. Placed a take out order, ready to go in under 10 minutes. Nice seating area, service was quick. Great thin crust, parking was... not bad. Not sure how it will be in the future. Pavement markings show future construction coming for sidewalk improvements.. Igave the Chicken Parmesan with Zetia a try, had to wait about 20min, was well worth the wait, came with a salad I wanted Vinegarand oil and some bread. This little restaurant is a jewel tucked away in the town. Give the restaurant a try if in the area. Read more
I was surprised with my experience here. All the reviews led me here but I found the food to be sub par. The pizza was far from... the best I've had. It reminded me of a frozen pizza. The breading on the calamari was tasty but the calamari itself was notgood. They also do not take credit or debit so you need cash. Read more
the pizza is great and the honesty and excellent business ethics are also GREAT! there is a company out there with similar name... that is NOT honest. Don't be fooled. Portobello's is the one that you want. Read more
