Grimaldi's has become our "go-to" pizza place for the last couple of years. Thin and crispy, wood fired pizza is the... best! Expect a wait on weekends. Also with the crowds, oven space (to make that beautiful pie) is limited, so pizzas can take anhour or more. Enjoy a glass of wine or beverage and spend time with your friends/family while you wait! We waited 40 minutes for our 16 inch traditional pepperoni pizza. The pizza crust was burned. We waited another 20 minutes after... finishing dinner for our check. The taste of the sauce was great. Not much cheese on the pizza. Tiny pepperonis. Disappointed inthe burnt crust. I definitely enjoy a crisp crust but this was one step further. Ordered jalapeños and onion topping pizza. Had to find the toppings on pizza. I have ordered it before from this place but... today It was worst quality pizza. Also,instructed them to make it crispy but it was soggy. Disappointed Read more
Deviated from our normal pizza place to try Grimaldi?s. We were greeted and sat quickly when we walked in. Decor was great! Had... server Ryan who was also excellent! Made several recommendations and was very friendly. The pizza we ordered was a simpletraditional style with just cheese/pepperoni. It was one of the best thin crust pizzas I?ve had. So.... where do I start... I love the Margherita pizza it is delicious. However the service isn't great. When we first walked in... the hostess had her back to the desk chit-chating with other workers. We were then seated right in the main pathway with approx4 other people in the whole place it was a terrible seat as 2 people were practically right next to us at a slightly lowerlevel(I could've reached out and touched them)-I asked to move, and they allowed it. Another family came basically at the sametime and also asked to moved as they were first seated right in the pathway. We then ordered 2 drinks; peach Moscow mule andmy husband got a drink. The Moscow mule was awful, I asked if I could just get some more peach it in or something as i didntfeel it was made correctly at all- of course he brought me a little container of peach ???? now I found this quite funny asmost restaurants would just simply remake the drink- not here. My husband also saw the waiter and bartender talking and heardthat the peach was forgotten. Again- at that point... why not just remake the drink? I got the bruscetta trio and it wasamazing, the waiter brought it and left- no Silverwere or napkins yet. Every other table was able to get napkins and water butwe were not even asked. So I ate the bruscetta without these things and again... waiter didn't come back until I finishedit. When he did come back we asked about Silverwere which took a good 5 minutes from that point to be brought to ourtable. Pizza came out and we ate it, he checked on us 2 times to make sure it was good and then went back to where they weremaking the food- probably to talk. We finished our pizza and wanted a box and the check but the waiter didn't come back- it tookhim 20 minutes to come back[I timed it]. Service wasn?t great. A lot of young kids at the pass, and it was pretty disorganized. Was told on the phone to pick up on 45... min. After arrival, was told my order would take an additional 15 minutes. It ended up taking another 30. Pizza wasn?t great.Both were overcooked. The cheese on both were chewy. The bottoms were covered in soot. The basil on the margherita was dried outand burned. Salad and cheesecake were fine. The atmosphere of the restaurant looked nice. Read more
It didn't hurt that we were starving, ha! The pizza was really quite good. The server did a great job, he was personable and... friendly. The only negative was that it has the usual problem with acoustics. Moderately noisy. Read more
Arrived on the weekend just after 3:00 pm, arrived during the coal turner. Basically means that this is when the oven's coal is... being replaced. So was aware pizza would be delayed. Our server Aspen was amazing, gave great recommendations and we had ourpizza after a bit of wait. Pizza was good, had the marinara pizza, which had plenty of sauce. Cheese was good and the crustwas crispy. Definitely cooked at a higher temp than my oven gives. Read more
