Finally, I found a traditional Szechuan Hotpot in Boston! The service(Tai) is the best I have been seen in all Hotpot spaces.... The foods are clean and delicious. The wine and cocktails are good and there is a place even have karaoke! Strongly recommend! Read more
Very good hot pot in the Brookline area enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu was pretty good as well. Had plenty options... available and I was very impressed with the service as it was very good and consistent. They also have good appetizer plates tochose from if your in the mood for something other than noodles. The spicy broth I was told it was just mild but wow it wassuper spicy way too spicy for me to enjoy. Overall tho I would recommend a non spicy broth to begin with. LaMai is hands down the best hot pot place I know in around Boston area. Their hot pot soup is purely authentic, delicious, not... only spicy but most importantly flavorful! The dishes (meat and vegetables) are very fresh and high quality. The employees areall very professional and friendly. It has been great experience coming here pretty much every week after we got our vaccineshot! Excellent quality ingredients. We also had great service once we were seated at a table. The only tough thing about this place... is there's no reservations for parties under five people. So even when you get called back from the waitlist you end up havingto still wait another 30 minutes to an hour. They do have a very efficient process, but still, it is a lot of waiting around.
