Anna Maria Pizza is a casual pizza place on Bedford. there are a few tables in side. there are a variety of pizza pies & other... menu items on display. the interior is fairly clean and well-maintained the pizza at Anna Maria is just okay. ordered a plainslice and ate there. the pizza crust was oddly soft. the sauce and cheese meatiness were fine but the crust being soft and thepizza not being heated enough made the slice pretty meh in my book. for a quick bite when you?re in a rush or late night, thepizza here will do but i probably wouldn?t come here for any other reason. a plain slice will run you $3 + tax + tip. theservice is okay like the pizza i had. Probably the worst service i have ever seen, cashier completely blasted and after asking her for our slice that they forgot... about they gave it to us lukewarm and with the stupidest smirk ever. On top of that the pizza was barely mediocre and absurdlyoverpriced. Considering there are two other pizza places just around the corner definitely a waste of real estate. Read more
The rating is for the pizza... the bathroom & tables aren't the nicest or cleanest, & it's usually quite warm inside, & there's... always a line you have to wait in. They're always so busy, so I understand they don't have time to scrub everything down &restock things until they close. But, the pizza is my favorite pizza in all of NYC, so I will deal with everything else just toeat the pizza! Read more
edible but soggy and meh Love the idea of TONS of toppings but in practice the crust was soaked and completely falling apart.... Chicken Cesar pizza, check. Chicken bacon ranch pizza, check. Grandmas pizza, check. This place has every slice you can dream... of. It?s fast, quick, has indoor seating, it?s located right outside the L entrance off Bedford Ave, and most importantly, isdelicious. Grabbed a slice and downed it before heading back to Manhattan and it was fire. Love this spot. Read more
