A very solid pizza place! We tried the artichoke, the vodka sauce, the crab pizza, and pepperoni. They were all very well cooked... for their different crust-thicknesses. The artichoke pizza was good, though I did almost feel like the artichoke-dip-esquetopping was a little overwhelming. Nevertheless, it was still good and quite different?but I was glad to be sharing, since Idon?t think I could have finished such a heavy slice. Excellent pizza on a Sunday afternoon. We walked by the place on Saturday night but couldn't get in... too many other happy... patrons. : ) The proprietor got us some really cold beers from the deep ice in the back to enjoy with the za. Great slice. Good tomato base, crispy pepperoni. Cash only has ATM inside. Slice is huge.

Wow! When we first arrived, I was told they didn't have any regular pizza available without a long wait so I opted for the... Margarita pizza and my son chose pepperoni. Both of us were extremely pleased as the finished product deliciously cooked with abeautiful crust the tasty ingredients made us made us want to come back for more the next time we go to Brooklyn. I decided I was in the mood for pizza when I was in the area last night. This place looked like it had plenty of reviews... (1,000+), so I decided to take my chances and see what they were all about. I initially wanted to get the artichoke slicebecause of the name, but it didn't look appetizing when I got to the counter. I pointed to what I wanted despite it beingmislabeled as a Sicilian. The man then handed me a box with two slices of Sicilian claiming they had just come out of the ovenand were therefore better than what was on display. I wish he had confirmed that I wanted the vodka Sicilian that I pointed at,but that's not worth losing stars over. The pizza was just underwhelming, and despite reheating it at home 20 minutes later toget it up to par, there was no char or significant flavor to the pizza. Had this delivered by uber eats on 11/05. The pizza was warm but the flavor was not there. It is unfortunate because from the... window the large pies look amazing. But looks can be decieving. Its New York so I figured the standards were high for aestablishment with high ratings. Ill be blunt. If you need good pizza go to Lucalis down the street im brooklyn. Read more
