Went here for the first time for a drink on the patio early one Wednesday night and it was perfect!! The patio is so beautiful... and spacious. Had a cider that the sweet bartender Luis recommended. My boyfriend and I got hungry and had some bites to eat andit was all delicious! I got the fancy grilled cheese and he got the burger. Definitely the perfect place for happy hour. Read more
This neighborhood lacks an outdoor bar option close to the park so it really works in a pinch, but I always kind of brace myself... whenever I come here. For example at certain hours sitting outside requires table service, which kind of kills the mood when youwant to order back to back tequila shots. I had to coach a bartender on making a Gin and Soda with lime -- this includedputting the ice in the glass first. Also gave me a squirt of lime juice which was odd, but not worth causing a fussabout. Overall it seems like there is a lot of turnover on the staff -- everytime I come there's a different person who is justlearning the menu. Read more
My wife and I visited this place one week after its original opening. We loved it! They have a new menu now (which we need to go... try), but the Fancy Grilled Cheese is what we always love! (get it with bacon!) The cocktails are great and friendly atmosphere.In the colder weather there's a fireplace. In the warmer weather, that fireplace moves to the outdoor seating area for thegrill! THE WORST EXPERIENCE If you are going to eat or have a drink, do not leave the bicycle tied outside on the platform, the... bicycle did not disturb the passage to the people because that door is always closed, but they will stab the wheel of thebicycle with a knife. This happened to me. You can see on the wheel that it was not a puncture with a stone or a sharp objectof the street, this was a stab. I am sure because I am riding bikes for 40 years. My bike is foldable and small. I don'tunderstand why they have to do this harm to others. My bike didn't bother anyone. The arrangement has cost me $85. The food isterrible!! Read more
