I ordered the Chagaccino (mushroom coffee) here and it was so delicious! The owner Brian has great vibes, so it?s not surprising... that the ambiance of this cafe is cozy & charming. Totally deserves the 5 stars! Read more

*Review of after hours business practices only. The proprietors of this business routinely use the cafe?s outdoor space to throw... nighttime shindigs which involve alcohol and patrons who disrespect the peace and quiet of neighbors consistently. Loud talking, laughing, yelling, and screaming can be heard for sometimes hours on end. An impossible scenario to acquire rest with no meansof escape when you live on the block. I ask the owner of the cafe to please respect the peace of hardworking neighbors. I wouldapproach you in person to speak on this matter but I fear a combative denial of responsibility. Read more

Brooklyn Brew Cafe was recommended to us by a lovely lady. My wife and I are visiting from Australia and we really enjoyed the... friendliness of the owner. The 3 cheese pesto grilled sandwich was definitely a hit and I recommend it along with the coffee. Ifyou?re in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn please give this cafe a go. Read more

Went to Brooklyn Brew Cafe for the first time. I'd somehow missed this charming little coffee shop between 3rd and 4th Avenue.... They have both a walkup window and small indoor area. A big highlight is all the specialty coffees they have - my friend and Itried the S'mores and Cookie Butter one. Both were really good! Read more

I discovered this cafe in a strange way; it's owner was promoting it in a local Facebook group that I came across by accident. ... I was curious about it since I love good coffee and I also like to support local mom and pop businesses. I soon brought mydaughter with me there to have coffee together. The place was at first hard to find since it was on a side street off of themain avenue. When I entered, it appeared about half the size of a typical cafe. However, the small space was designed in sucha way to give maximum impact. The high ceiling exposing the natural wood rafters, an original brick wall, and another wallfully stocked from top to bottom with coffee products made this place visually appealing considering the small space. Theircoffee comes from the Brooklyn Roasting Company which I like since it's a local business that they support. I tried theirvegan sweet potato coconut curry soup. It was so good and had a little bit of a spicy kick to it. The cheddar chive biscuitwas out of this world. It was savory and flaky with an unique cheesy-spicy flavor combination. After my daughter sampled mybiscuit, she wanted one for herself. There are a few other food items on their menu including ham & cheese croissants, garliccheese waffles, various muffins, and large cookies. Seating here is limited. Besides a full table with seating for 5-6, thereare a few wall-mounted tables for those who don't mind standing. Each of these tables has it's own dedicated outlet with USBconnections for your electronic devices. The husband and wife owners were here when we visited. They were both warm andfriendly and appreciated my business. In a neighborhood that's saturated with cafes, this place stands out from the crowd. Read more
