As someone who began eating here pre-vegetarian, then switched to vegetarian, this place has something for everyone. It was a... standard before becoming vegetarian but now it?s my lifeblood. Sometimes it?s not perfect service but they are consistent andwill always make it right in the end. Reading some of these other reviews I have not had similar issues, the place is clean andhave never had an issue with the food itself. The smoothies are amazing, and the signature sandwiches are to die for, both meatand vegan. Check out the desserts and salad coolers for interesting additions. Real talk: How many signatures would I have to collect from people in my building to get a ?Manhattan Standard?? I?m in Alphabet... City. There are 3 vegans and 4 vegetarians just in my 16 unit building. We have zero delis with vegan options less than a mileaway. I tried giving the deli?s by me menus of others with vegan options and they aren?t having it. I?m next door to a bunch ifhipster late night bars. There are no vegan options for them. Pre-ordered lunch for pickup. It was ready for pickup when they said it would be, but there was no estimate of when it would be... ready ahead of time. They called to ask about a new bagel choice when the selected one wasn't available. Food was decent. We hadbagels with egg and a guac burrito. Read more

Mixed bag of an experience. The juice bar and the guys who work there are outstanding and the fresh juice is always tasty.... Sandwiches are hit or miss. When they are good they are very good when they are bad they are very bad to inedible (old rock hardbacon). Read more

I used to come here very frequently because of their selections and accessibility. But after receiving sandwiches with HAIR in... it, more than once? I was forced to not order from here again. After the first time I brought it to their attention, you wouldthink they would start to wear hair nets to prevent it from happening again. Nope, that wasn?t the case. I will stop in here on my way to the avenue sometimes and being that there are always people outside I always figure it was... amazing. But I haven?t been able to find anything I love about his place enough to return regularly and not just the one offs asneeded. The coffee is awful and the food and snack choices are just not enough to return and especially not to wait on aline.
