Carmine?s is a type of bar-restaurant pizzeria. The location has two entrances. The restaurant entrance is on the right hand... side. The place was not very crowded at 3pm when we got there but filled up some by 5pm on a Saturday afternoon. I rate thisplace a 3 star because the plate I ordered was chicken franceses with pasta did not taste good nor did it look appetizing. Itried a few bites but it was not a pleasant taste on my palate. I can?t even explain it that?s how weird it was. I ended upgetting the pasta chicken parmigiana. Thankfully this was good and did not ruin the rest of the meal. The price for the plateswere between $16-23 which is the average of other places. The service was good, however we went as a group of 7 and they did notwant to split the check. Read more

This is an amazing Italian restaurant! Numerous different types of pizza, a brick oven, comfortable atmosphere! I walked in, saw... all these different pizzas! The aroma was making me hungry! They also had chicken parm sandwiches in what looked like a largegarlic knot (Gotta try it!) We sat down and saw two girls behind us eating. One had this amazing looking dish, she said it was?Chicken Bruschetta with Buratti?. The bartender/waiter ?Rocco? (great guy) told us it was really good - HE WAS RIGHT! Oh mygoodness!!! I cleaned my plate! The girls even ordered 2 to go for dinner that night!I didn?t expect this from a sportsbar/restaurant!!! This is a classic NYC slice. Will meet all expectations. Perhaps a bit too much cheese but otherwise awesome. I found the... grandma slice not too great. It was too soft. Almost like it was undercooked. The flavor of the sauce and garlic was awesomethough. Read more
