Beautiful decor of royal blues and gold with lovely plating of breakfast essentials! I had a great time having brunch here on... Sunday at 11am. There were still many tables available during this prime brunch time hour. We had the Spanish Stuffed FrenchToast, Farmers Market, and Basque Country. All three were delicious! The two omelettes came with a salad dressed in an oil,salt, and pepper (was a bit too salty) and a piece of bread. The omelette was filling but not too filling. The French toast wasamazing! It was stuffed with some sort of cream cheese filling and topped with blueberry, blackberry, and strawberry withNutella and granola. It was nicely warm and soft inside with a nice crisp crunch on the outside. It paired very well with theslightly tart fruit! I would come back to eat that again :) Unfortunately we were not notified of a 3.5% surcharge when creditcard is used to pay so beware - I would have used cash then. First thing, please make a reservation beforehand. I made the mistake by not but we were still seated but I feel bad just... walking in since they?re busy. The staff was very polite and was honest that we were going to wait a while. We waited 10+ minsbut we were busy talking to notice. It was worth the wait. The good was amazing and I recommend ordering the stuffed Frenchtoast. We ordered two iced lattes, one order stuffed French toast and two açaí bowls. It came out to $50+. The inside it?sreally pretty and has such a nice environment. The staff was very polite even a customers was being rude. I went on Father?sDay (I forgot it was) and of course they were busy. Absolutely love this place. First time here during an extended stay on business. Dined her for breakfast on an early Sunday... afternoon, ordered the Basque Country omelette and a latte. Latte was perfect (ordered another one post-meal), and the omelettewas absolutely delicious! The potatoes inside the omelette were soft, perfectly (lightly) seasoned, omelette/eggs fluffy and notdry or undercooked ? just perfect. Service was great, too :) Will be back again!! Read more
Came here for brunch with kids and we were all very pleased! Everything was absolutely delicious. The Clavel tuna and a side of... crispy bacon may have been my favorite. My daughters had blinchiki and waffles and cleaned the plates. Can?t wait to come backhere to try their lunch items! We are stuffed. So so good Read more
This place is my new Euro-haven in Brooklyn. Food is amazing and very original. Ingredients feel like they?re farm to table. The... ambiance is very Euro-chic, and the workers are incredibly friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Lumi!). Also the cateringorders are super scrumptious, on time, and super easy to order. I?ve eaten here 6 times and I?ll probably count another 700before the year is out. Absolutely love Clavel, hope they stick around for a long time! Read more
