Huge portions, tasty food. You know a Mexican spot is legit when it's all Mexicans eating there. The cemitas are good for 2... people, maybe 3. Try the elotes and hot dogs as well, all good food. Read more

Best food at coney island. Good Mexican food with huge portions at reasonable prices (cash only tho). They can be slow though so... if you see a dozen people in line be prepared to wait 20 or 30 mins. Read more

Glad to see Mexican food represented at coney island. May you still be there in a 100 years. We were big fans of the cemita... (exponentially better than any hot dog, even Mexican hotdogs). FYI, they come spicy! Read more

We found this place a couple years ago during a visit to Coney Island and fell in love. They were closed during the winter so we... were excited to see them open again this weekend. The food is just as good as always, but the prices are much higher, now$15/cemita. Tacos are $5/each. They were cash only when we went. There is an atm on site but note it charges $4.75 in fee. Uh delicious! Cemita with beef. Get lime and their spicy salsa - huge, generous portion, and that pickled chili thing they put... in it is fantastic. Read more

I have been a loyal customer since they first opened - about 10 years ago. Their food never disappoints. Its authentic,... delicious, and huge. You definitely get the biggest bang for your buck. Since it is located near a busy and tourist area, it isa little expensive as far as inner city Mexican street food goes. Their menu is limited to tortas, cemitas, picaditas, and ofcourse - tacos. I recommend the Gordita de Chicharrón. Its seasoned corn flour mixed with pork rinds and then deep fried. Itsthen sliced in half, cutlet style, and filled with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese. They have a tiny condiment station where you canchoose your salsas and toppings for FREE - pico de gallo, red sauce, green sauce, radishes. Try the seasoned dried chiles for anextra kick. You will not be disappointed and full for the rest of the day! Its guaranteed. See a picture of their Cemita demilanesa de pollo (breaded chicken). Read more
