Guacamole with plantains and some green, side sauce was the best thing there. My children didnt like the food. My steak, medium,... was burned. The rice was bland. It was just yellow. We will NOT visit again. If i could give Zero stars, I would. Read more

Ordered some burritos and tacos for dinner, and was thoroughly disappointed with the food. The pork was dry/over-cooked and... pretty flavorless, there was so much filler rice (which had very little flavor) - even the tortilla chips were greasy and overfried. The whole order seemed like a carelessly prepared mess, and we ended up throwing most of it away. I can't imagine thecooks are proud of this food. I feel taken advantage of, and regret eating here. El nopal is a mixed bag of good. First and foremost the food is good. Surprisingly it?s hard to find good Mexican in park slope... for $10-15, and el nopal does that well. The inside is interesting tho, not in a bad way but a little dated. Service is fine.Actual tables and chairs could be a bit better. But food is solid. Great taco/burrito joint. So glad we stumbled into this place. Such good food for a bargain! I ordered the ranchero burrito and... my lady ordered the chicken burrito bowl. Plenty of food...for my girlfriend. I loved my burrito so much I ate all ofit....almost took a bite of her hand when she tried to take some... Bottomline, come try this place. Read more
Amazing food. I had the A la Mexicana burrito and omg i havent had a burrito like that in a long time. It was filled with so... much flavor and the jalapenos gave it an amazing kick. My cousin and I shared the guac and chips it was delicious. My cousinenjoyed her steak and chicken tacos. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Its a place that would be perfect to warm you upduring the winter. We will definitely return soon. Read more
