Em is a true gem! We walked over the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan, and my son picked this place to eat. We were greeted with a... friendly smile after the lunch rush, and we picked our own table. We ordered the spring rolls, and they were hot, crispy, anddelicious! I had a pork bowl, my husband had the beef pho, my son had the chicken pho, and my daughter had a chicken bowl.Everything was so fresh and bright, the beef was delectable, the pork was flavorful and tender. Just everything we ate waspretty perfect and very reasonably priced. This may not seem like a big deal, but the bathroom was the cleanest and best caredfor I have since since we got the NY. It was an easy walk from the bridge, and the interior decor had a very calming vibe.Highly recommend! Read more

Really a nice, small, beautiful restaurant nearby Dumbo! It is really a must place to go if you visit Dumbo or after a long walk... from Brooklyn Bridge. I came here with my family for lunch after visiting cold windy Dumbo. We ordered 2 soups (beef andChicken) for my parents and Pork chop. Really love their Pork Chop! (I wish I could be there and eat that again)???? Theservice here is really excellent and welcoming. They gave us water after we got our tables and helped us to understand themenu. I really want to go back there again once I visit Dumbo or Brooklyn! PS: The restroom is also clean and comfortable (notlike public toilet). Read more
The space is bright and beautifully decorated. The menu includes traditional Vietnamese favorites which were all well executed,... tasty and nicely presented. I wouldn’t say that this place offers the most authentic Vietnamese food, but it is suitable forthe less adventurous crowd looking for a solid meal. Read more
The food tastes great. we've been eating at Em Viet Bistro since they first opened and was happy to recommend them to our... friends looking for authentic Vietnamese food (or as close as possible). Over a year later, the quality has lowered a bit, theflavors not so strong in authenticity, and most importantly, dwindling portions with increase in prices have left a bad taste.Even the egg quiche is slowly getting smaller if you look at previous photos.
