Faro, well what can I say? A lot actually. Consistency in quality, plating, service, it’s all necessary to earn a Michelin... mention, let alone a star. My first visit was memorable. That description should suffice. Definitely 5 star here on Google, So Iwent back to order the same plates upon opening at 5 PM to check consistency, an all important factor used when writing anarticle in any magazine. Your reputation at stake when putting pen to paper. The same cheerful polite service was present. Threeplates matched, one did not. A short rib plate with literally a few strands present, stuffed pasta was absolutely withoutquestion not fresh, plating was a mess, colors were off. It felt as if they scraped the previous days leftovers onto the plate.What a disappointment. My advice to the chef. Raise the price, add short rib to the dish, never serve pasta that isn’t fresh.If you can do it right once, do it each and every time. You never know who you’re serving, and that shouldn’t matter anyway.Your reputation does. ?????®? Read more

Excellent experience. Loved the focaccia to start with the Caesar salad. I really enjoyed the tender rabbit on the spinach... pasta. Excellent flavor. My wife loved her cauliflower brown butter pasta. Expertly crafted and served. Nice wine and cocktaillist as well. I understand they probably lost a Michelin star for service, but I am not sure why they aren’t Bib Gourmand.This was a fantastic meal and I would definitely return. Read more

Booked a last minute reservation for 2 last night, and it did not disappoint. This place had been on my list for a while, and we... finally made it out. The food was really great and the vibes were awesome too. The space is a converted warehouse, so it is abit noisy from everyone talking. The staff is fast and attentive and the dishes are creative. Booked Faro for a Saturday night late dinner. Ambience is set in an open warehouse space with gives it an airy, spacious... feeling. The food was excellent! We started with the Hearts Of Romaine salad which is there version of a Caesar salad. Bigportion very shareable. For entree we had the Cod and Cappelletti Ragu. Both were served in big bowls and burst withflavor. Highly recommend for a delicious dinner in Bushwick. Read more
Very lovely place with friendly service and stunning looking dishes. Unfortunately the taste just didn’t quite live up to my... (high) expectations given everything else (that’s excellent) about this restaurant. I’d come back to try their other pastadishes since the ones we’ve had weren’t very memorable. Read more
