this is the best place to order whatever they have on their menu for your event, i want to share this, i had a breakfast event... in boro park and as i know, freund's means fresh and tasty, i made a big order, lox and sable platters, section platters,roasted salmon platters. and much more, they are simply amazing, everything was so fresh and tasty. it was worth every pennyspent here!!!!! This appetizing store is an essential part of the neighborhood. Specializing in fresh fish dishes and appetizing (i.e. smoked... salmon, smoked sable, smoked whitefish, kippered salmon, a wide variety of herring in all sorts of novel preparations, gefiltefish, etc,) but famous too for their wide variety of kugels, including their famous 'overnight' kugel, this mainstay ofconsistently good taste is rightfully part of the fabric of the community. Being that this store is connected with the adjacentFreund's fish store, their product is always fresh, well curated, and professionally executed. Food is delicious! Ordered a platter for a birthday party and I will be ordering again.
Update: 12/18/17 They called me back the next day or so, to apologize for their service and handling, that they made a mistake,... the rep wasn?t trained in properly. They offered a refund plus some credit for a future order. I?m not sure if I will everorder again but the fact that they called to apologize and try to make it right definitely helps. I changed this review from aone star for a Four star review as the experience wasn?t great but improved and giving them a chance to fix the experience forall future consumers.
