I love the pork sticks, lemon, pita, and hot sauce
Came here at noon. Was told to wait for 15 mins, never got it at the promised time. Someone who came after me but got his order... before me while I was told to wait a bit longer. Asked the chef multiple times "How much longer?", "Wait as long as it's readyif you still want it, if not, we can serve you another time... Have a nice day!" For a moment I thought I was talking to agangster. Obviously they don't want my business. Worst restaurant service in Brooklyn. Read more
the best food i have ever tasted. whenever I can shop at this place. the lamb is very tasty
Friendly service. Their famous gyro pita was massive. Tzatziki made with Greek yogurt and wasn't watered down...like some... other places I've been to. The meat was tasty without being salty. Read more
Stopped in one day for some lunch ordered a Chicken Stick lunch special with a side salad. Salad was delicous but the rest of my... meal was awful. The chicken had a slimy texture underneath the outside char, and the rice lacked any and all flavor. $11.96 for4 pieces of slimy chicken and flavorless rice is not a great deal even by NYC standards. Skip this place and check out the otherincredibly Turkish/Greek restaurants in the area. Edit: I'd also like to mention that there was a not a single employee wearinga mask. I’m was walking on 70th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway after work and turned my head to see what place is this so busy and... the folks waiting on line. I’m reading Gerorge’s Souflaki. I ordered food and was excellent. Amazing take out greek foodrun by the family. Amazing people running this take out food, testy and big portions. This is a great Mom and Pop spot. I've been here a few times pre-pandemic and always enjoyed the atmosphere and service. I can't... say it's anything fancy, but there's a really home/family feel to this place. It's kind of like visiting your grandparents forlunch. The owner and his wife are both very sweet and I've never had a bad experience with them. They give generous portions andmake you feel like more than just a valued customer. I ordered from them today and the owner said "I gave you enough fortomorrow too. Incase you get snowed in." I thought he was joking and just making small talk, but when I went to dig in, all ofthe containers were packed. There was probably enough chicken in my chicken gyro platter for 3-4 meals! I believe in honestfeedback so i do have to say that the fries were on the soggy and greasy side, but that is likely because I didn't pick it upright away. Food is good for take out. Too bad the owner has no class. You will hear him yelling at his employees which some of them are... family . Loudmouth type of guy who can be heard from across the street yelling and cursing. Read more
