I came here after read the reviews and though it's good. Service is nice and that's why they automatically charge 20% gratuity... in the receipt. They also charged 4% credit cards fee and the waiter never mentioned about it. This is ridiculous. The foodportion is decent BUT 6 of us think the food is so so. The seafood is not too freshef but most importantly is food are nottasty. They have bad chefs. Hence 1 star just for the service. Don't waste your time here. Read more
La Chacra is a gem in Peruvian cuisine and drinks. The food and drinks were great. The portions that were served were just... right, not too much nor too little. The staff were attentive and helpful. My waiter was fantastic in recommending things anddescribing the specials of that day. The only nitpick is that the restaurant is a bit small but it's worth going. Read more
Love the chicken very tasty. Great peruvian food , the atmosphere is good and the waiters are amicable. ****Update: Horrible is... an understatement, I went on a Friday with my sister as we had previously visited and was one of my favorite spots forrotisserie chicken. Unfortunately that has all changed. We entered and we're somewhat greeted by the bartender, he told us tosit wherever, we waited at least 5 minutes before we were greeted by a waiter, who brought menus and then we finally had thewaitress which in my opinion was lacking customer service skills and must have had the worst attitude and energy that day I'veever seen she clearly did not want to be there and at that point neither did we. But since we were hungry and more interested inthe food we ordered and got through with it. We waited a good 45 mins or more I'd say till we received our food. The chicken wasundercooked almost raw and the overall experience was a bust. It safe to say we won't be back, but at least they'll read and fixthemselves before they lose more customers. Read more

So disappointed in the food after reading all good reviews. I was in Peru recently and this doesn’t taste like a decent... Peruvian food. “Papa Relleno” potato had fried onion inside- and the description says no onion. It was nothing like I had inPeru and reminded me of Russian or Polish cheap pierogies. Wouldn’t pay $1 for it-just threw it away. I ordered “mildceviche” and it came back “very spicy”. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the delivery was quick. Read more
