Discovered this gem right before closing time and thank God that I did because the food was superb! I chose the smoked spaghetti... which is a staple at this restaurant from the Italian born chef and the recipe has not changed since it’s inception this dishreceives a 5/5 from me! The venue is very charming and even has a back patio with heaters. Read more

My favorite neighborhood spot. I can’t stop getting the agnolotti every time I come. It’s an explosion of flavor in your... mouth. Also the burrata with heirloom tomatoes and grilled zucchini are banging. I mean really everything here is very good. Read more

The staff at LaRina was very welcoming and friendly. They were also friendly to my dog as we sat outside, asking if she needed... water. They made great suggestions and made sure our glasses were never empty. This was our second time there and it getsbetter every time. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks to all today. Read more

My best friend and I loved this place! We sat indoors at first, but the weather was lovely, so we moved to the outdoor backyard... patio, which was very cute and green. The restaurant itself gives off a comforting, homey atmosphere. Moving on to the food, Ifound it interesting that some of their dishes stuck to traditional Italian cuisine, and some had unique elements! For example, the Fiori di Zucca (fried zucchini blossom) was as you'd expect -- crunchy, buttery, and stuffed with velvety cheese. TheAgnolotti was tender, and you could tell that the pasta was homemade; however, it came with a very earthy smokiness that I don'tthink is common in Italian dishes. In any case, their food is delicious. Most of all, their customer service is exceptional. Thehost and our waiter were terrific, and all staff embodied Italian hospitality. I love this place! Yes, I know three stars? But let me preface that. I would go back a second time. Maybe even a third. It seems that there are... some types of Italian cuisine that use a minimum amount of salt and pepper. Perhaps this is one of them. Honest I don't reallyknow. So we are just a bit of the bite of salt or the heat of a touch of pepper short for that fourth star. Maybe I should havejust asked. But there is a difference sprinkled on rather than cooked in. Loved the ambiance of the backyard. So I encourage youall to go. I'll be back too! Read more

Tremendous lesser-known Italian restaurant in Ft. Greene. Well-priced, some unconventional pastas, with everything tremendously... executed. Already looking forward to my next visit Read more
