Made a reservation and suggest one is made in advance as the place was almost full. This is a very nice restaurant for romantic,... casual or business dinner. Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming and friendly service. We had sea food and fish, both were wonderfullyprepared and served. Portions size was generous and evrything was delicious. Me and my family have been coming here for a while now as our most favorite restaurant in the city period! Tho, even tho my... family is extremely hard to please and they love to complain, here they are as quiet and that makes me happy. But other thancoming here with my family I enjoyed a hell of a time one friday night that i came here with my friends. Food was gorgeous,service is fantastic, tho prices are high but you do pay for quality that makes every penny worth while! In conclusion, if youare looking for one of the best/ THE best restaurant in nyc then look no further than limans! Its a must recommended placeespecially in the summer time! This is the best Turkish restaurant in NY. The view is marvelous. The food is amazing. The prices are a bit higher than usual... Turkish restaurant. But both service and food are worth more. The cold appetizers were delicious. Spicy ezme is a must to try.The shepherd salad was perfect. The server offered us the local fish that day which was an excellent recommendation. It is notBYOB. Wow! I really loved the atmosphere there. Service was amazing especially the girl from Kazakhstan ( sorry can’t remember the... name) who was our server, she was very friendly and professional. Everything is always amazing. Tamara, fried calamari, grilled octopus, fishes to the steaks to the lamb dishes are just out of... this world. Tamara is an amazing appetizer. good service but insanely overpriced. $60 for fish, $35 for 5 medium sized kebabs, $40 for calamari and they charge us service... tax like they aren’t even paying their employees minimum wage in one of the most expensive cities on Earth. $70 for servicetax. A meal for 6 ran us down $480. The experience was okay and it was our fault that we ordered. The food was great andservice was good but it’s expensive as hell. Expect to pay at least $70 per person for a full meal to stuff you up compared to$20-40 for other restaurants. Won’t dine here again though. $4 for a small coke too. Damn. Kebab was yummy though (picture).Also I could taste some salt crystals in the kebab but that does not bother me too much. Just a little bit more sodium for themeal. Read more
