This place is horrendous. First off, the setting is pleasant. That said, this is it. The drinks are mediocre. Food is really... bad, I sampled multiple dishes and everything was either bland or overly seasoned. Their burrata is a disgrace (imagine eatingricotta labeled as burrata). Service is non-existent, waiters are inefficient, unfriendly; you get better service at a McD'sthan here. All in all, beyond disappointed. Read more

I had a very enjoyable time at Macchina. Came here for dinner with my girl friend and sat at one of their outdoor tables. They... had all day happy hour deal so we got their margs for $8 each. They were very well crafted and pretty sweet. We both got theburrata pizza which was the main reason we were there. It definitely lives up to the hype and everyone must try it. Onlyrecommendation I have for Macchina is they need one more server or busser. Our waiter was great, but he had no help and wasrunning around all night. If Macchina has just one more person working I don’t think their dining experience can be beat. Read more

This is nice brunch and pizza place in the Kips Bay-Murray Hill area. We've had reliably good service here each time we've been... over; the staff are really nice and helpful. The pizzas are pretty good, but definitely not the greatest. They are famous fortheir burrata pizza, which is fine but is mostly a soggy rich mess. But their other pizzas are excellent. I found Macchina on a website that said it has some of best pizza in Brooklyn. A local friend recommended the burrata pizza and... wow, that dish did not disappoint! My friend and I enjoyed the Old Bay fries and the chicken tenders as appetizers. I drank anaperol spritz that was beautifully made as well!
