Got the family meal- 1 lbs pulled pork, 1 lbs brisket, cornbread, pickled cucumber slices, Brussels sprouts, creamy slaw, sweet... potatoes, crispy chicken sandwich. WHAT IS IN THAT BRUSSELS SPROUTS?!!! My kids shoved it in their faces. 1 quart was notenough. It?s so dang good! The flavors are TOTALLY BULLSEYE!!!! aight?brisket was 50% fat?and I gotta say?that?s a bit too muchfat for me?and I eat pork belly and fat. But yea know?sometimes it?s just a cut of fatty meat. The bbq here is fantastic. The ribs and brisket are smoked perfectly with the flavor permeating to the bone. The ribs are... tender but not over cooked like places tend to do in nyc. The sauce is that Texas style, not vinegary and not too sweet whichI love. Been coming almost every week since they opened, the manager Patrice is so sweet and welcoming everytime I or anyonecomes in the door. Great addition to the area! Read more

This one is on the owner, not the staff. If you think you have a competitive edge over Pig Beach and Hometown cause they?re... closed Mondays, think again. If I?m dining in, as a guest, I should be offered some ice water when seated, rather than selfserve. Really? If I place my order, have it repeated back to me, and you only have two other guests in the dining room, alreadyeating I might add, it should be a cakewalk to get it right the first time around. Single serving of Brisket, No Salt, Cap side,sliced thick. Walkout was in order when I was presented with the opposite. Your fault. Not theirs. See you tomorrow Hometown! Read more

This place jams hard. I don?t know why I don?t eat here all of the time. Great for kids too.
