Pretty bad. Didn't have several of the listed menu items ( fried yucca, green sauce ), took twice as long as promised to... produce the to go ordered we placed, and forgot to include one of the (tiny) bags of plantain chips that were supposed to comewith each cubano we ordered. Cozy place for casual quick brunch. My new spot for coffee. Cafe con leche is tasty and sweet - brewed fresh on a fancy espresso... machine. They also have non-dairy milk options. Cuban sandwich is bussin bussin. Read more
The food is AMAZING! The vibe is tropical. Instead of a selfie wall there is a wall that tells the story of the owner's family... from their time in Cuba via pictures. You're greeted well and treated like family. Oh....and the mimosas are made with FRESHSQUEEZED OJ. Need I say more? Millie's gets 10 stars from me. Read more
Adorable cafe with hearty Cuban lunch. A good spot for a casual brunch, quick lunch or coffee date. I love the decor and all old... photos too! I ordered three side dishes- rice, beans and maduros sweet plantains! It was a tasty meal but the beans were WAYtoo salty and the rice was hard and undercooked. The spot is cute and quaint. The vibe is very nice. Well kept and well decorated. It is a hot summer day and this place is cool... and refreshing. I've always said that Cuban food would be my last meal on Earth. Give me black beans, rice and platano maduro and I'll be very... happy!! Millie's Cuban Cafe is my new favorite neighborhood place for these things. It's lovely, quaint, cute and Sammy at thefront is the perfect hostess! The food was very tasty and fresh. I ordered sides of black beans, rice, platano maduro and a sideof spicy chimichuri sauce. Mix it up and wow!! If like me you cannot start your day without coffee, you have two choices.Traditional Cafe Bustelo or local roastery, Superlost. They even had oat milk for my latte! We heard great things about this place so we had to check it out. The design was super cute and very homey! The costumer service... was welcoming but the food came out very slow. The communication and organization behind the counter was nonexistent. Theymessed up our order twice and it took about an hour to get everything on our table. The coffee and the food flavor wasphenomenal. I know this place has great potential with the help of great leaders and a good organized system between front andback of house. We came for breakfast and it was hectic so I look forward to coming during dinner time. Hopefully, our experienceresembles the amazing Cuban flavor of their food. Read more
Food tastes good but our order did not come as expected. The Frita did not come with the promised side salad and did not have... pickled onions, shoestring potatoes, fried egg, or cheese (which is rather important on a “cheese burger”).
