Our friends who live in Ridgewood recommended us Money Cat Vietnamese American for their flavorful pho broth, so we decided to... give it a try when we visited them. Customers should order and finish payment via scanning QR code on each table. It?s halfself-service for water and sauce but service charge is still defaulted in bill which is kind of surprising. We got Pork SpringRoll and a bowl of Money Pho with extra raw beef to share with a group of two. The portion was okay but the price is kind ofhigh in our opinion. Their spring roll was just okay, the wrap was crispy but their filling was pretty dry. The broth was alittle blend, the raw beef was tough to chew but the brisket was tender. Read more

I came here twice in one week while staying in Bushwick. I tried both the chicken pho and the rare beef pho- both were... delicious. The food is 10/10 but the service leaves much to be desired. There is no physical menu, only QR codes with SquarePay to order from your smartphone, which is a deterrent for both myself and my partner when choosing a restaurant. If they hadphysical menus for those who prefer a traditional dining experience I would give 5 stars. I understand it is to keep pricesdown but there is something very dystopian and disconnected about this type of ordering. Read more

Pro?s: flavors and food were delicious. Great beverage selection. Cute atmosphere and decor. Good music and not too loud! Very... good service. Con?s: You have to scan the menu and pay right away. I don?t appreciate this option because it takes away fromthe experience of going to a restaurant, looking at a hard copy menu, server discussing dish suggestions and there?s just somedisconnect that I don?t like, when a server has to auction off the food, because they don?t know what I ordered. A server shouldknow what each guest ordered and not guess where the plate is supposed to go (it?s not the servers fault in this instance).Sometimes this option gets a little sticky too if your phone is acting funny or there are extra drop down menus on the website, etc. Paying right away is also strange because you leave your tip even before the meal has begun. They were out of brisket. Weordered the coconut ice cream affogato, but was served regular vanilla. Server didn?t really check on us after the desert wasserved, plus at that point in the meal, it feels weird complaining that you didn?t get the flavor you requested. I wouldabsolutely go back and would still recommend this place to my BFFs, just little things that kind of irked me. Read more

The Vietnamese spot is the cool Cat on the block! The space is well lit with walls of glass and gorgeous decor, my favorite... being the wall of Money Cats with fully functional arms! The food was all fresh and super tasty and the hosts kept the wineflowing. Definitely recommend and can?t wait to go back! Read more

Money Cat takes the great American tradition of slow roasted brisket and combines it with delicious Vietnamese flavors. I had... the brisket pho. It comes in a pretty generous serving so you may even want to share this with a friend. Great flavors and veryfilling. We also had the crispy pork spring rolls to start which I would also recommend. They have vegetarian options as well. The ambiance is hip and chic. They?re working on their liquor license at the moment but once that is in place this would be agreat place to meet up with friends for a casual meal and some good ol? fashion pre-pandemic face to face bonding. The vibe of the restaurant was very cozy and welcoming. The owners (and their cutie baby) were present the entire time to make... sure everything went off smoothly and was enjoyable. We were started off with veggie and pork spring rolls and summer rolls.I don't eat pork but, thought the veggie spring roll was delightful. The summer roll was light and refreshing and had a hintof sweetness from the mango. I ordered the lemongrass chicken banh-mi and thought it was a big portion and very tasty. I wish they didn't included the tough parts of the cilantro stems and be careful when chewing as I did come across a piece of bone. Iwashed down my delicious meal with an ice cold Coke. The affogato was delicious and it was my first time having it. I drankthe coffee first and then ate the ice cream. I didn't realize I was supposed to eat them in tandem. I still thought it wastasty and thought the condensed milk was a delicious touch. Read more

What?s not to like?! Fresh Asian food with a hipster twist, made with care and love, served with a huge smile. I loved my... experience at Money Cat from the decor to the food. A perfect spot for a friends gathering or date night! I especiallyappreciated the tofu vermicelli. The tofu was marinated and so flavorful, the vegetables were chopped so finely, and thevermicelli noodle and texture were excellent. They also had amazing vegan options including a vegan fish sauce. Seriously. Get.Here. Meow. Read more
