Even with some bad reviews, I gave this place a try after many years. A few good orders and good food but tonight showed... terrible customer service with a dishonest and rude owner/manager. Website orders are delivered by door dash. They dropped ourorder and things cracked & spilled all over. I called restaurant (not thrilled to have the bother of dealing with it by his tone& he tried giving me door dash # first), said he'd call back & was told we'd get a refund. Hubby dried off, saved what he could& trashed the rest in apt garbage chute. Manager/owner called back saying door dash wants pictures, said my hubby dropped theorder and is sending someone to pick up the order (he probably wanted to make $ on another order or why threaten this b/c Ifound out more after). I told him it's in the apt garbage chute & I can't get it back. So he said then it's our loss and notgetting a refund. Hubby was so furious he didn't want to touch food from such a horrible guy and I was annoyed that the driver'sstupid slip almost ruined our whole night...no thanks to the restaurant for good customer service but when hubby refused totouch food from such a rude place, I tried calling door dash. Door dash was the epitome of what good and normal customer serviceis...said they already emailed my refund and we could salvage what we could from the order and that he knew that it was thedriver's mistake. He said they weren't sending a driver to pick up the dropped bag and didn't need pictures. Hubby never wantsto order from here again b/c of owner/manager attitude and dishonesty. They don't offer sit down at the restaurant, the attitude and customer service is awful.
After a few bad experiences with the person that takes the orders (owner of the place, I think) I’ve decided I’m not longer... ordering and paying double the price for Kosher Chinese food that’s not worth it!!! The food is barely mediocre, the ownerwill lie cheat and scam you out of your money and go as far as give you the wrong order and blame you for placing your orderwrong this place is the Fugazi !!! it should be closed down horrible service horrible food !!! Kosher Chinese takeout.the owner will tell you a dvar tora or story while you wait.Good food,delivery also.
The food here is always top notch and delicious. Owner is friendly and willing to accommodate whatever preferences you might... have. Pricing is not the cheapest... but you get what you pay for it. Gave Mr Nosh a try today. And although the prices are high… you won’t find any cheaper in any other Kosher Chinese food... place besides for Glatt Coney. Chop a nosh is the same price and so is estihana. The price is justified mainly Because in itemslike the sesame chicken the breading is thin and the chicken is the main part. Unlike other Chinese places like Glatt Coneywhere the Piece is mainly wheat not chicken. However I do believe that a cheaper option, (smaller portion) where the rice andchicken can fit into it one serving container would be a nice idea. I think that would tap into the demographic that don’torder for 2 or more people. Furthermore, I think that a more traditional Asian style fried rice with vegetables would becomplement the sesame chicken better. Overall I’m giving Mr Nosh 5 STARS ?????????? Because, the service was quick, the ownerwas nice, the food was fresh and tasty and worth the money for the amount of meat I got. Read more
This was 136 dollars and the food is definitely not worth that amount of money. I usually order from glatt coney which I get... double that amount, tastes 100 times better for about 60 dollars. Then when I call to speak to the owner he hung up on me. Youshould be ashamed of yourself!! I will NEVER order from this pathetic place again. Disgusting how you treat customers! Read more
