This is a very unique concept that I really enjoyed. The crispy rice chips and spicy tuna dip appetizer was solid. I wanted to... try a little bit of everything so I ordered the signature set temaki. Surprisingly the vegan options were some of my favoriteones. The temaki is served like little art pieces almost too beautiful to eat. Read more

Love the style of this sushi place. Reminds me a lot of sushi by m. Step aside Fushimi there is a new better sushi spot in north... Brooklyn. Definitely will be a regular here. Also pretty affordable, though I went a bit overboard on sake on my last visit. Read more

I was really excited for this place and it simply missed the mark. First off, it's really easy to pass by it if you don't know... the exact address (236). I came with a friend and we sat at the counter inside. The inside decor and setup was modern, clean, and welcoming. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Despite the ambiance and staff being incredible, the drinksand food fell flat. We shared the calamari and spicy tuna dip to share. Both were good, but nothing amazing. The matcharita wasbland and just tasted like a watery matcha drink. We both got the signature set and then a spicy crab dynamite add-on. The onlyones that were standout were the shrimp in the signature set and the spicy crab. We felt that not only did the fish temaki fallshort, but the last one of the set was a cucumber in sesame sauce... I'd expect much more from a $90/pp dinner. I will alwayscompare sushi and fish restaurants to Domo Domo in terms of value and Domo Domo is MUCH better when it comes to taste to priceratio Read more

10/10 experience here - highly recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi, this place is the best I’ve had. We started with the... Shishito peppers and the spicy tuna dip with crunch chips (so good), then got the signature combo (I hear this is what you needto get if it’s your first time to the spot), and ended with the the cookie which was fresh out of the oven and tasted likewhat we made at home with family. My newly wedded wife was pleased with this one. So was I. Really. Fa real. This is great!!! Take the Signature set. Full stop.... And the spicy tuna dip. Mmm. And the potato salad. She seemed less annoyed with me after the 2nd drink as well. Btw - I don'tlike scallops nor shrimp but still love the signature set. Don't do the vegan dessert... it's not good. Read more

Yes, the reviews are correct. A bit pricey but This is the place to go. Reserve the table ahead because you would end up waiting... for a table over 1-3 hrs. Temaki sushi at this place is chef’s kiss ?????????????. (Highly recommended) try the coconuttempura thingy Read more

No matter how many times I came, I never tired of eating here. High quality of food, amazing balanced and flavored dishes, cool... staffs. Can't be more happy. Try their Nani Nori Salad, I'm not a big salad person but love it so much. And the fish skin chip, the dip just so delicious. Read more

A modern, casual Japanese fusion restaurant with notable flavor combinations from the Temaki counter. Everything is gluten-free.... Extensive appetizers run the gamut here, but entrees are only hand rolls. Get the coconut shrimp with green curry, lime &cilantro. Do not miss dessert. The mochi/churros in lemon curd are excellent. A design-forward Williamsburg space follows thesuccessful West Village location. Now open for lunch and brunch. Read more
