This happened today on november 6 2022.This would be 5 stars. The restaurant is good problem is delivery man. I used a $20 to... pay $11. The guys asked me how much I want to leave tip. First you give me change then I decide. But besides that? he said heonly had $2. I?m sorry but I needed the rest of the money tomorrow. He sounded surprised.. like you can tell that?s too littlefor him. He said he had only two dollars for change. Well I didn?t accept that. He went to look for more change at his bike andfrom a far I sold a lot of bills but all he gives for change is $5. He basically decided for himself that he should get $4 tip.And that is rude regardless if my tip wasn?t big enough. Read more

This is what I received yesterday from Ninja 86 Sushi via an online food ordering company - RAW beef short rib! (I bit into each... piece to find one that was edible but there were none and then saw the RED.) Contacted the restaurant and they wereunapologetic, claimed they were busy with orders, and confirmed that the beef was frozen (and the chef didn't cook it properly).Unacceptable and Unsafe! Also ordered Indian Pancake (did not take a pic) and was given only one small solo cup of the currysauce (the same solo cup they put soy sauce in, so it was not enough dip for the whole pancake). They need to provide at least 2solo cups for deliveries if they do not have a small plastic container (like the ones you get for takeout soup) to put the saucein. BEWARE of ordering beef short rib from Ninja 86 Sushi and FYI on the lack of sauce for Indian Pancake deliveries. Read more

It's a good alternative for Sake if it's too crowded there. I was worried about the service, since most reviews were complaining... about it. It was alright. They forgot some of our order but we didn't pester them too much because we were actually pretty full.I did appreciate how the salmon was so fatty. It was actually pretty good. And they didn't load the sushi pieces with a lot ofrice which I appreciated. We went for lunch and it was only $14 before tax and tip which I think is a great price consideringwhat you get. They have better rolls for dinner, but if you just want an easy AYCE sushi fix for cheap this place isn't bad. Read more

Came here this past Friday night for dinner, the restaurant was full and they had an obvious steady streamnif takeout orders... being turned out. We came because the takeout menu and pictures online looked like this place would be reallly good. But, wewere very disappointed by the service and quality. We ordered and it took over 30 minutes for anything to come out even misosoup. This was consistent across the entire restaurant's other patrons. Also per the pictures that I am posting each piece ofsushi came with about a fist full of rice. If you want any fish with your rice I would suggest you go somewhere else. Thecooked food came out in a pool of grease too. The only reason they are getting a 2 is because the place was clean. Read more

Stopped here twice already, once for the sushi and second time for the hot entrees. Both times were only ok... Depends on what... you order. The sushi rolls were fine in general but the spicy tuna pizza was flavorless. The Habachi orders were tasty (sauce)and the fried gyoza was good. Only thing, if you order the steak from the hibachi menu, know that it's like a chewy flat ironsteak, not tender at all. The pork Katsu Bento box meal was a good value but the pork was a bit on the thin side. Grilled squidand soft shell crab were worth ordering. Read more

We received a menu from this place in my mailbox. My wife wanted to pay a visit after reading the menu since she loves sushi. ... Once I entered, I noticed how clean and well-lit this place was. This is in contrast to a neighborhood full of restaurants thatare on the dirty and unattractive side. The walls, decor, and furniture were all very stylish and worked together well. Iordered the vegetable teriyaki dish. It came with a salad that had a delicious ginger-carrot dressing on it. We had age tofuas an appetizer. It's crunchy outer-shell combined with a soft tofu inside was an interesting flavor contrast. The vegetableteriyaki had a light delicious sauce and was a nice-sized portion. I was very impressed with the owner who personally came tomy table to apologize that they overcooked my dish without my knowledge and asked me to please be patient while they cook a neworder for me. Now that's service! My wife's sushi order came beautifully presented decorated with a little tree. She enjoyedher dish. Our meal was capped off with an offering of watermelon slices which was yet another detail that made this place standout among other sushi establishments. We ordered green tea ice cream for dessert. It was presented with a dallop of whippedcream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was very tasty without being too sweet. The workers in this restaurant were verypleasant. Overall, this place was a great experience for my family. Read more
