This is comfort food. The kofta was delicious, but I enjoyed the falafels because they were very crispy. Plus, the staff was... kind enough the explain the menu. Overall, I had a good experience here and I recommend to visit this restaurant when in thearea. Read more

--Inconspicuously spoiled food - gave me a bug and diarrhea-- I wasn't going to do this but I sincerely feel a sense of... responsibility to for anyone who might consider coming here in the future. For the first and last time I ate here August 2 2022and had a sandwich with pita bread, hummus, french fries and salad ingredients. (as well as a Lemonade - who knows maybe thatwas a factor too) Nothing tasted wrong, however, today I am sick with a stomach bug, four bouts of diarrhea. I am certain it'sbecause of the food from here because I only eat out occasionally, take 48 hours to digest and had what I usually eat from homeyesterday. This is really never excusable. I've eaten out in NYC over the last 7 years at numerous places, usually this kind offood (Mediterranean, Pita, Falafel etc.) and have never had an issue. This kind of thing just never happens IF the restaurant inquestion properly ensures sanitation, that all food is properly preserved and fresh, and if it does, it means the people who runit and work there are careless and are cutting corners for the sake of time and money. I wasn't going to do this but I mustleave a merciless 1 star review. It's worth it if even one person reads this and avoids the same fate as me. It's awful thatpeople have their health compromised like this. I can't even be anonymous in this review because Google makes it impossible tomake multiple accounts and the place doesn't take card, cash or Venmo only. So be it. You'd think a small humble cash only placemay have cheaper prices but $8 for a sandwich is standard even at more formal places that make the same food and are similar inBrooklyn, Manhattan or Queens. You pay the same price for risky food that doesn't take card. Good luck. Read more

$10 for a chicken pita. It was delicious and I wish it was more filling, but ultimately I enjoyed it. Cash only!
