There is good reason for their 4.9 Google Rating. Service is exceptional, bartender really knows his stuff. Wonderful beverage... selection that pairs so well with their delicious menu offerings. Fresh Rye Pita right out of the oven filled with a pocket ofsteam that makes you feel right at home. Paired with a warm smoked fish caponata that was out of this world (or at least thiscountry). Bartender mentioned the recipe came straight from Puglia, Italy. The best Clams “Casino” I have ever tasted and Ilove Clams Casino! Fresh baked Clams with local bacon, garlic butter, and finished with Paprika. Was glad I reserved the RyePita for the aromatic broth to dip in to. Fresh Agnolotti packed with delicious Ricotta, covered in freshly shaved Parmesan,Lemon, and Parsley. I only consumed half this dish to leave room for the duck and I was not disappointed! Duck Confit, braisedin its own fat, reheated to temp, and tossed in their brick oven to deliver the crispiest skin that just melts in your mouth. The internal duck bone literally fell off leaving the most tender and delicious duck meat. I can’t remember a betterpreparation. Served over Tarbais beans, Mushrooms, Local Olives, and Golden Raisins. Easily the best dish of thenight. Finally, the Chocolate Torte with a Salted Sesame Caramel. The only option on the dessert menu and the only one theneed. Bartender served the most delicious Chiot Bitters Apertif with this torte on the house out of appreciation for myfeedback. Definitely my go-to next time I am anywhere in Brooklyn. Read more

Some of the best food in Williamsburg, and the best gyro I have EVER had. They make all their pita/breads to order and they are... also some of the best I have ever had. Good cocktails, friendly service, nice owners. The secret it to go for Saturday lunch toget the gyro. I seriously cannot overstate how good it is. Read more

Pomp & Circumstance is one of the best restaurants in NYC I have eaten recently. The fresh baked sourdough pita is heavenly and... tasty. It goes perfectly with the generous portion of the duck liver mousse. We have fluke crudo, clams with bacon on top, escarole salad and garganelli pasta with Calabria chili, mushrooms and endives from the small plates. The fluke crudo isflavorful and the pickled celery add crunch to the dish. The clams were so delicious and the paprika sauce goes well with thepita bread as well. The escarole salad tastes more like a Caesar salad. The garganelli pasta were so yummy. Our server was sofriendly and professional. He offered a taste of the wine to make sure we like it. Also love the plates. The bathroom of therestaurant is one of the cleanest and nicely decorated. This is a real gem in NYC. Read more

Very delicious, hot, puffy, baked-to-order pita bread, definitely the star of the night. Beside the rye pita bread with... bottarga (great!), I had roasted clams and lamb meatballs and a chocolate torte for dessert. All were delicious. Definitelyrecommend! The place feels relaxing and cozy. I had a seat at the bar and I could see the chef prepare and bake the pita in theoven and that was very fun. The service was awesome. The bartender Joseph was very kind and friendly! Read more

Checked this place out with friends recently and loved it! Love the ambience and the family-style/small-plate sharing vibes. To... start with, the pita is excellent - both the semolina and the rye and each with their own strengths when paired with aparticular dip. We tried the bottarga onion dip, hummus, and labne and each was great though I think the bottarga was actuallymy favorite. For our main dishes, we did the agnolotti, the carbonara, the garganelli, and the clams - each delicious in theirown way. I love the subtle spice in the garganelli as well as the bacon to pair with the roasted clams. All great! The interioris somewhat small but a nice intimate setting and plenty of space for our party of 6. To top it off the torte was delightful -rich though with the right amount of sweetness cut by the salted caramel. Would definitely come back here! Read more

I’ve eaten all over NYC, and all over the world, and P&C tops my charts of favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. It’s a... low-key neighborhood spot with food that is incredibly inventive and flavorful. The pita is the best pita I’ve had, period(and I’ve lived in the Middle East for years). Pita is an odd thing to highlight and you may shrug it off, but trust me,it’s worth coming just for the pita alone. The duck liver mousse is a staple for me on this menu- I have to get it every timeand could genuinely eat a bucket of it. Each dish is unique. I don’t know any other spot in NYC that I could get roastedoysters with cheese and bacon (that’s also done in a tasteful way) and wagyu-beef tongue with shaved horseradish and cabbage. The service also keeps us coming back- P&C is owned by the loveliest couple who truly care about the food and their customers.Just very glad that this spot exists and I can continue to discover new tastes here! This is an amazing restaurant in more ways than two or three! Just take the name of the restaurant as one for starters!... Dazzingly inspired and brought to you by a delightful couple, one Mr & Mrs Ahearn, this magical place will satiate more thanjust your stomach. The food is Mediterranean based - think Greek, Italian, Lebanese and Spanish. Choice of two breads to go witha selection of four dips like labneh or Bottarga or pickled vegetables. Then there are varying main dishes from small to largeplates. I reccomend the Cavatelli, which is a wild boar bolognese. Excellent selection of French, Italian, Greek and Spaniahwines. With an extra choice of orange skin contact wines which are delicious. There are cocktails available, too, but I did notavail of them. What is also amazing about this place is the ambience, the decor, the artwork and the music being played - adelightful mix of pop and Electronica compiled by Melissa Ahearn., who is also a Maitre D' Extraordinaire! Our waiter, namedRyan, was attentive and informative with a great sense of humor and has worked for the Ahearns for twenty years, which to meshows how wonderful this couple is. I highly recommend going there and making an evening out of it. Read more
