I asked for a 2pc Breast and Wing combo but when I bite into what I thought was a Breast, it was a Thigh! Yuck! I do not like... dark meat, slimy chicken so I had to throw my food away! Ordered from Popeyes on Uber eats my entire order tasted like day old food just hard and stale. Chicken was over-cooked like it... had been re-fried then some of my items were wrong. Nothing was fresh, I absolutely love Popeyes food, but this was the worstfood I have ever had!!! Read more
I am a big fan of Surf Ave location here in Coney Island. Super quick service, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Mermaid... store is the EXACT opposite. This Popeyes is deteriorating more and more with each day in reference to the quality of food. The spicy chicken is not spicy -... i thought the chicken was old but even waiting for a new batch resulted with confirmed disappointment in decline of quality.They are simply money hungry and this is really bad for Popeye's brand - I believe management was changed and turnover is highas observed with multiple visits as it is a convenient place that allows seating. None of the workers are wearing masks as they talk and yell over your food. They have no clue what?s going on and are completely... rude and can?t even handle putting chicken in a bag. Ordered a 3 chicken tender meal with a LARGE red rice and beans with a regular order of fries. They gave me a thigh and two... drums meal with fries. And a SMALL red rice and beans, completely opposite from what I ordered. I guess it was late and closedto closing time so they threw some stuff together in a box. Not caring if it was correct or not. I ordered a meal The cashier calculated everything on her phone and gave me no receipt And when I asked for a receipt she... started to argue I said look at the camera that is illegal plus I have no receipt.
