The staff at this location can be very hit or miss. They also haven't had a working machine to make acai bowls in the past few... months. My last few delivery orders from here consistently been missing the bowls. We went in person before work a few times andwas told the machine wasn't working. Another time we came back, the girl at the counter seemed so bothered to make the bowl, Ialmost didn't want to ask for it. I'm wondering now if the machine is actually broken, or are the employees just saying that sothey don't have to make the bowls? One of the girls (whose name I don't know) working there was not polite at all. I asked if they had chlorophyll shots in stock... and I guess she couldn't hear me, and her response was "What?" with an attitude. I repeated myself and she answered "Yes, " butagain with an attitude. Just to make sure I wasn't overthinking, I asked the person with me if they thought she was rude too,and they agreed. Listen, Pressed is great?love the juices, love the freezes as a late night treat, and I even love the app + rewards... program. But?dear god?every time I walk in here it's like I am ruining the night of whoever happens to be working. I considermyself a fairly friendly face at first blush and the outright rudeness, disrespect and shade being thrown at all hours of theday is just ungodly. Like I didn't kill anyone. I didn't do anything to deserve this. I'm just trying to live my life and I'msorry if that means interrupting the hotbox session in the back. Loved pressed until today when I was restocking juices from them. one of the Root 1 is looking off with its plastic bottle... looking extra puffed up almost like gases is building up inside the bottle and immediately after taking the cap off thatbottle, what?s inside smelled nothing like normalcy and it?s giving a rotting sour smell. A quality control issue that ispotentially dangerous to any customer, the rest of my order along with the hundreds of pressed juices I had in the past wasfine, but one hiccup like this is enough to turn that health drink into a health hazard. I really like this place, the juices are delicious and affordable, the location super convenient and they have a great rewards... system. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. The other day there was a problem with charging my card due to theconnection and after a few tries they gave me my juices free of charge! I?m very glad this spot survived the pandemic and the Ltrain renovation. Read more
I went in for a three day cleanse and the associate was very helpful. I don?t remember her name but she is the nice young lady... packing the bag.. and yes I made her aware I was snapping a photo. I do not know what happened. I used to come here almost everyday last year; I had the VIP account because I loved the freeze and... bowls. The service was amazing. I was met with staff who knew my name (not that they had to but it was nice to berecognized). This year it is the complete opposite. I do not recognize this new staff. They all seem like they do not want to bethere. I have seen people sitting on the counters. The store is dirty. The staff make weird remarks to each other. I have triedto walk in and they were not open even though it was within their business hours. The machines did not work. I have cancelled mymembership because of it. The products are great and affordable but the cost of having to deal with the staff is not worthit. Shoutout to the people who made it great. Guess nothing lasts forever. Read more
