Came here off a whim as it was my last night in Brooklyn and couldn't have been more pleased. I had the schnitzel with an... Oktoberfest beer and it was quite possibly the best, filling meal I had my entire week long stay here. The place looks like acozy area for locals to get together, have a beer, chat, and watch sports or in this case Jeopardy. Will def come again should Ivisit. Thanks from a California guy! Read more

Amazing food. The schnitzel was delicious and so was the Shepard's pie. We ordered the pretzels and the sausage sampler for an... appetizer as well. Everything was tasty Read more

This is the place that really made my like beers when I was younger. Great opportunity to try a flight of German beers with some... schnitzel. Though now my favorite thing to do is sit at the bar for happy hour and munch on bar food while chatting with friendsand strangers alike. Its such a casual vibe with great food. Wings are really good. Just tried their chili and it tastedsurprisingly homemade. The beef sticks were a fun whim to try. Great prices and a great time. Read more

Authentic German cuisine and beer, great simple ambient and live music! If you want to spend a lively time with your family or... friends and don't want to break the bank, its a right place to come. But be prepared for a difficulty to find a street parking;) I am sorry, we were hungry so by the time I realized to take photos we almost ate it all and it was tasty ???? Read more

Old school German restaurant in Bay Ridge. Definitely has its crowd of regulars. Came on a Friday night for dinner and they had... live music which was a nice treat. The service was extremely slow but we weren't in a rush. We ordered the steak salad and aBavarian pretzel to start. We didn't realize that our entrees came with salad so next time I'd skip the steak salad. The steakwasn't as tender as I had hoped it would be. The pretzel was warm and salty, but salty in the way you want a warm pretzel to be,it was delicious. I especially enjoyed the grainy mustard. I ordered the rahmschnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and it was richand tasty. My husband ordered the wienerschnitzel with french fries instead of spaetzle. They brought him spaetzle anyway. Hisveal cutlets were just that, plain, fried veal cutlets. They could have used a sauce aside from the lemon wedges they came with. The spaetzle was unfortunately bland but the fries mostly made up for that. We also had a couple wheat beers and lagers. Nexttime I come, I'd like to try some wursts. Overall, it was a good meal with live entertainment. Read more

Googled for German food on the way back from NJ What a treat. Great selection of traditional Bavarian dishes. Wide selection of... German beer. Staff was attentive and informative. Very comfortable atmosphere. Place seemed like a local favorite. Lots of takeout going out the door too. Probably the largest traditional German menu in the tristate area. Desserts totally worth it.
