Extremely disappointing. I was so excited about the concept, but the execution fell short, and the prices did not make up for... the skimpy portion sizes, uninspired “fusion” dishes, and the Cap’n Crunch that was in my Campbell’s Chicken Soup feat.Matzoh Ball for some reason. Our waiter was very nice, but I left the restaurant more salty than the pickles. Read more

Had dinner in the outdoor seating. Cozy ambiance and good service. Tried the Matzo ball ramen and the chilled sesame temomi... mazemen. The Matzo ball has more of a mediterranean flavor, more bland while the mazemen was flavorful and very tasty. Would goback for sure! Read more

Amazing food and great service. They offer a tasting menu for parties of 4 or more and daily specials!

We had a group dinner there a few weeks ago and definitely enjoyed the food! The challah starter was good but I felt expensive... for the size ($7 for a piece of bread). The dessert of banana pudding with challah was my highlight. I had the matzo ball ramenwhich was great while my friends enjoyed the other mains such as the Lox bowl (see pictures). I wish the restaurant had beenplaying music in the background I felt it could have heightened the experience. The only other reason I didn’t rate this a 5was because they charge you for using your credit card. I really feel that the restaurant should sort this out and stop puttingthis charge on their customers. If this is suppose to be an established $$$ restaurant then don’t charge this, it’sridiculous! Jewish+Japanese food, absolutely amazing combo. The egg was close to perfection, the wagyu pastrami sandwich just as tasty as... any other NY deli and the matzo ball ramen delicious. Desserts were great too. The restaurant is intimate, not too big, cozy, pretty and the service extremely nice. I totally recommend it and I am definitely going back soon to try the rest of their menu! Second year we’ve done to the Christmas prefix. Glad to see the “Jew egg” back. One of my favorites. I had the hot pot and... my hubby had the matzo ball ramen. Both delicious and hearty. I feel they really just do a great job with the fusion aspect. Sowell executed. Read more

Great food, friendly staff, and delicious drinks. Bring a date here and they'll think you're hip to something fresh. Come after... dark for *perfect* dim lighting. No cap, whoever is writing the flavor descriptions of the beverages has tight palette tovocabulary skills. My drink was described as light body, funky, melon and it was EXACTLY THAT. Bravo, for real. Such a unique fusion we had to try it. Our favorite was the teriyaki duck wings, it fell off the bone and the sauce was amazing.... Matzo ball ramen was flavorful. The wagyu pastrami sando was disappointing, nothing wagyu about it, it was just a regular drypastrami. Love the concept, but some items worked and some didn't. Read more
