This is my favorite for affordable American style Chinese food in the neighborhood. The food tastes more clean and fresh than... the other spots, better quality. It's a family owned business and sometimes they are understaffed, but I have never had anyreal issues or didn't mind being a little patient for them. The lunch and dinner chef are different... I've actually had someexceptionally good lunches, the chef is just on another level at lunch. Honestly never had a bad food experience at ShanghaiLee and I've been ordering or dining in there for 15 years. We were struggling to find a local GP Chinese spot based on reviews, and this was terrific! Eggplant, lo mein (SO good!), and... sesame chicken (huge pieces almost like fried chicken rather than small to medium) were great. Spring rolls were good. Read more
