What an experience! After being warmly greeted by the owner and her brother, we were seated in a lovely back garden. We were a... little nonplussed when someone was seated right next to us, despite there being plenty of other tables—but they soon got coldand went inside. (There are space heaters but they weren’t enough for these folks). We started with cocktails, had lots ofappetizers, and then the waiter steered us to the steak main course. Everything was delicious. The steak was steakhouse qualitybut accented with Persian flavors. The salad was surprisingly spicy. The eggplant dip was to die for. And the dessert wasdelicious. Highly recommended. Read more

Lovely experience at Sofreh. Persian food in a modern setting! Some of the dishes were underwhelming but overall very happy we... gave it a shot. Do not expect a traditional Iranian restaurant simply because that’s not what they’re going for. Dishes anddrinks have so many Persian elements but they are not your grandma’s recipe. Whatever you order don’t miss the lamb shank!Sweet & sour meatball and their bread are top notch! I wish Aash/noodle stew was more thoroughly cooked. Read more

Elevated Persian cuisine with bold and well balanced, but not overcomplicated, flavors. Highly recommend all the appetizers for... sharing, including the yogurt dip, the eggplant dip, and the salad with tahini and dates. Save room for dessert and order thetradition Persian ice cream with saffron, rose water and pistachio. The dishes are well portioned perfect for sharing. Plus leekdecor, lively ambience and a lovely backyard. Read more

Amazing place. We suggest you get reservations because there is always a good crowd there. The food is delicious and delicate... and artistic and beautiful and subtle and robust. You will experience so many flavors. We had the half chicken ???? and thesteak ???? and the Lamb ????. So many flavors. All the meat was tender and juicy just fall off the mouth type. The waitress wassuper knowledgeable and made great suggestions. If you want to try something different but comfort food this is the spot. Theowner was there and spoke to us super friendly and kind and wanting for everyone to have a great time. Read more

Authentic Persian food with a very well crafted menu. The food tastes great in here and is somewhat modern representation of... some traditional Persian dishes. Their cocktail menu, however, is rather new and crafted with some unique Persian ingredients. Read more

This place was packed! I can only manage how it was before covid. We couldn't get a reservation or a table so we sat at the... bar. The food ???? We ordered the eggplant appetizer, lamb and duck for dinner with saffron rice and ice cream sandwich fordessert. Everything was flavorful and filling. The lamb was so tender it fell off the bone. Incredible food, everything we ordered was so delicious. The flavor, balance and the effort made to make everything on the plate... matter and add value to the dish is remarkable. Bonus points for wonderful chat with the lovely owner/chef and she spent time toexplain what we had ordered and the flavor profile. (I may have told her she’s a genius at least 4 times) Superlativeexperience. They change the menu seasonally, so have to revisit in spring. And we didn’t even get to look at the dessert menu. That saffron ice cream is calling me. Read more
