We are visiting from the UK and a friend of ours who used to live in New York recommended here as he used to eat here... regularly. We had lunch here today and he was spot on with his recommendation! The food was absolutely delicious and portionswere spot on. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the deserts were yummy - particularly the apple pie! My main reason for leavingthis review though is the service - particularly to the young girl that was serving us (I think her name was Sophia?). She wasso polite and competent. She really took care of us and knew what she was doing. I really wanted to give her a special shoutout! We hope we will visit again in the future and will be recommending to any of our friends visiting New York too! Read more

Amazing Italian! Many delicious vegetarian options and super warm hospitality. Received a complimentary tiramisu and round of... champagne from the manager, and everything from the starter bread salsa to the penne a vodka was delicious. Fabulous specials.Thank you! Read more

This is a staple in Park Slope. I've been coming here for decades but have never written a review about it. Excellent food for... very moderate prices- particularly for this neighborhood. The only thing that could make this place better is maybe a happy houror an early bird dinner special. Servers are friendly and welcoming. There are so many new restaurants in this neighborhood yet,I continue to return here. I recommend any pasta or fish dish. They also have wonderful specials that change daily. Featured inthis review is potato encrusted salmon. YUM. Simply Amazing. Read more

My wife and I have passed this restaurant so many times but have never been here.....So we finally decided to have dinner here... and I must say... What an experience! My wife and I are together over 32 years...(She's the Love ?? of my life) and we havebeen to so many restaurants over the years..and SottoVoce is by far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Fromthe moment we sat down, we felt welcomed and relaxed..and without even viewing a menu...our server explained and describedeverything perfectly...He was warm, friendly, passionate, informative, and very attentive...His service was Top Shelf.. Thefood was outrageous...From the appetizers to the deserts...My wife and I cannot say one negative thing..The food was cooked toperfection..fresh..flavorful..simply delicious..An amazing place and staff.. We look forward to coming back again andagain.Thank you so much... Read more

Amazing customer service, fantastic food, and a great location for people watching (if you sit outside). I'm not sure if he was... the owner or a manager, but our server was one of the nicest people I've ever met, with a genuine excitement to share hishappiness of the food with us. When he found out my companion and I are in the restaurant industry, he brought us a tiramisu(one of the best Ive ever had) to enjoy before work. Try the eggplant rollatini, house made lasagne, and if available that day,the cheese "purses." I'm so happy this is in my neighborhood, I look forward to bringing more friends to check out this localgem. Read more

There’s nowhere better in Park Slope to get an innovative take on traditional Italian food. The wait staff at Sotto Voce is... knowledgeable, friendly, and so welcoming to us as neighbors in the community. Their famous tomato dip - served complimentarywith bread - is so delicious, they let you try and guess the “secret ingredient” for a small prize. We couldn’t get it -but it hardly mattered bc the dip is so yummy! Pasta dishes and all their special entrees are to die for. And dare I say thebest Tiramisu in all of Brooklyn. We came at noon on a Tuesday for lunch and a bottle of Prosecco. It was quiet, and theoutdoor seating was peaceful. Read more

Absolutely amazing. Ambiance, staff, and food. Old school service friendly and attentive. Amazing food, wouldn't even refer to... the menu unless you find yourself craving something specific because the specials were/are surprising and legitimately amazing, from the appetizer to the dessert, spoiled for choice and flavor. Though the classics don't disappoint but shine, the homemadepastas with proper sauces are incredible. Quash the craving of old school Italian with new influence and freshness there. Read more
