I’m new to sushi sashimi and I have to say I was definitely in for a treat coming to Taiki. I loved my picks off the menu. The... belly trio and the hand rolled salmon cucumber. My friend had the tuna tartar and the yellowtail roll. We both enjoyed the mealand we will definitely be regulars here. Thank you Taiki for the awesome service as well. Read more

It's a small, but pretty serene hole in the wall compared to the rest of Downtown Brooklyn. Babe and I got a small, but spacious... back table which gave us enough privacy to have dinner and discourse without being overwhelmed or crowded. The service was good, but you could definitely tell they need more help when reservations coming in. Overall, this is somewhere you go to when youneed to get away for an anniversary. I'd come back again, but as a special treat. Read more

Moody modern Japanese sushi bar, with a short but well curated menu. Takeout business is strong and waits can be long at peak... times. Service is fantastic. Read more

A small intimate sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. The place is literally a few steps from my home so I had the try it,... especially since some of the reviews here were pretty glowing. The place is small and intimate, homey. I had the toro tarterand the monk fish karaage appetizers. Following with a sashimi Omakase. The monk fish was fried in batter. I thought It was ok. The fish felt fresh but the batter somewhat under fried. The $20 toro tartar was pretty small and underwhelming. The sashimifelt very fresh, especially the otoro tuna. All in all I would probably skip the appetizers next time, and try more of sushiofferings if I would go back Read more

This was my go to place for takeout sushi/sashimi during the pandemic. Roasted edimame and monkfish appetizers are tasty. They... also serve about 5(?) different fish from the yellow tail family. A mouth watering visit. Read more
