After ordering a prix-fixe online, Tandoori Masala accidentally did not include the appetizer that came with my order. I called... them and they told me to come in to pick it up (awesome!). Once I arrived, the man in charge immediately gave me an attitude andrefused to give me the appetizer that I proved I paid for. I have been a loyal customer here for three years now, but I neverwant to come back because of the appalling treatment I received from the staff over a $5 appetizer (that was paid for!) I hopethis review can serve as a reminder to this man that treating people with kindness will make them actually want to give businessto their restaurant. :) Read more
I will give the garish lighting and humble decor grace, but the one attendant/server insisting on enjoying multimedia on his... phone with no ambient music to drown out the noise was regrettable. We started with Vegetable Samosa which I found pretty solid.A tomato chutney would’ve been lovely. The two that were offered lacked body. That seemed to be a theme, though. I had thechicken korma— such a disappointment. It presented closer to a Tikka Malayan complete with fruit cocktail. The sauce was paleand thin. New go-to spot really enjoyed their food
LET ME TELL YALLLLLLLLL!!!! I have no pictures of my order bc it was so good we literally inhaled it. Literally the ONLY good... to-go Indian food I can find in the Ridgewood/Bushwick area. We ordered through Uber Eats and by the time it got to us it wasstill piping hot. The Chicken Masala & Salmon Masala was delicious (we asked in the notes for it to be medium spicy bc it comesmild automatically) the Vegetable Samosas we’re FRESH & crisp (my personal favorite) & the Garlic Naan wasnt anything specialbut still delicious. I can’t mix fruits with food and My vegetable korma is full of pineapple. It would be better if it had potatoes instead of... pineaple and grapes. Before this plate had no pineapple in this store. Read more
