I liked the food. The winner was the crackers. The muhamarra (pepper spread) was however unexpectedly sweet. The mind pies were... good, especially the cheese one. Tanoreen is a amazing restaurant in Bay Ridge with beautiful decor, and a very tasty menu. Took my mom here for her 50th... birthday and she loved it! They provide good portion sizes. Highly recommend and I will definitely come back! 10/10 it wasamazing I love that many of the food options are vegetarian/vegan friendly a large variety and selection!! To begin with, my husband was very ill at night after this dinner, he vomited all night! I don't know why this place is highly... praised, but we were disappointed. Everything we ordered (and there were 4 of us) was too sour, it was impossible to eat. Pleaseadd less lemon or it was some kind of sour sauce! Too sour!!! They even tried to spoil the hummus! This is such a lovely Middle Eastern restaurant that has delicious food and good service. The prices can seem a tad high, but... once you get the food you see why. They provide nice sizes portions and everything is fresh. The overall appearance (includingthe bathroom) is well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive and the bartender can really whip up a great margarita. Ihighly recommend and I will most certainly be back! Read more

Tanoreen is a really nice restaurant in Bay Ridge with really nice decor, friendly and safe staff, and a tasty menu. The price... is a bit higher for the area, but not unfair given the food quality and portion sizes. Definitely better if you can go withfriends and eat family-style ????. Read more
Whatever you’re doing right now, stop it and just come here. There’s no need to even read this review and the pictures... don’t do it justice. The hardest thing about this place is trying to pick exactly what you want to order. I could haveordered anything on the menu and been extremely happy. They have an incredible set of ever changing daily specials. The food issimply top notch here and the hospitality is really special. You feel like you are having a true family meal here cooked with somany years and generations of traditions. I can’t wait to come back here. I was so excited to come here and am planning mynext trip to Bay Ridge just for this. I’ll travel an hour each direction here any day of the week. Read more
The food and service here is simply excellent. The servers are polite, friendly and very attentive without being... overbearing. The portion sizes are large, I wish I knew that ahead of time as I’d recommend ordering family style, or notgoing so hard with the appetisers. Despite the large portions there was no compromise on quality, the food was delicious, freshand very reasonably priced for the amount you get. The outside seating area was perfect for dinner on a late summer night. Read more
